Hi Everyone here....

Can anyone recommend any tyre dressing that can last long and maintain the black and shinnyness? Currently i'm using the Armourall Extreme Tyre Shine but doesn't seem to be shinny or last long. The form one look more shinny and last longer....

Cheers

HI all

Sorry but digging up an old thread; but I got the Formula One Black Gold on recommendation of the bros here and got a few qns. Hope bros who have used it before can share some tips.

1) The instructions says to spray on clean dry surface. What I find is that it takes a long time for the car tyres to dry after you wash it. So was wondering if what the effect would be if you spray the tyre when its not dry. I got tired of waiting and use some paper towel to dry it as much as possible.

2) I find it damn messy to spray to the tyre without getting some drip on the rim. Seems to have a lot of wastage too cos some of the spray tend to go astray and end up on the floor. You also tend to get some on the bottle and hands and makes your hand damn oily and slippery. Luckily I parked the car before applying, else I will have a hard time getting the darn thing off.

The result is damn good but I wondering how to apply it to the tyres without too much mess and wastage. Any tips??

yeap! [thumbsup][thumbsup]

I have tried several tyre dressings. Meguires, Armorall and some no name brand.

F1 Black Gold is DAMN DAMN kilato!!

Lasts longer too!

But the bottle will finish damn fast if you jus spray direct.

I wash my car almost once in two-three days, and apply tyre polish (cheapo one) at every wash. If your pattern is like mine, jus go for the cheapo one. I use Waxco brand, 5 bucks can last for around 30 washes, if i remember correctly.

Oh, and Singapore weather is wet, Nov - Dec worse. This Waxco thing wont last a heavy rain though. I dont mind since I apply tyre shine at every wash. For dry days the Waxco can last for around a week w/o application (There was a period of time when I was lazy to wash my car). Method of application is apply the white liquid on sponge, wipe on tyre. No mess.
