Anyone tried this brand called Amon from Autobac before? Selling quite cheap now.

Because by the time you drive to the petrol station, the tires warmed up and will give a false higher pressure reading. Remember, tire pressure is taken when tires are cold.

 

What about just bleeding away 50-60% of the hot air in the tire first before pumping back in? It should be an approximate level to the right pressure.

For the same gauge design they can produce them at various price range to meet the needs of professional racing mechs, lab techs , workshop mechs, weekend mechs and DIYers .Even at DIY market level, the sector can be further segmented into delux, economic and cheap.The price vary very much due to gauge accuracy, material used level of promotion and the distribution channels

So long as all the tyres in contact with the ground have the same reading , you are in safe hands.

i bought this for $14.90

Even if you can set the needle to zero reading doesn't mean that the gauge will give you accurate reading. Gauge quality depends on the type of boudon tube or similar actuating device. Inferior type will not be able to repeat the span readings to fine accuracy.
