Hi there... Thanx for your concern...

Anyway, the driver called me this morning and he told me briefly that he didn't even know that he hit my cousin's bike... He also said that he saw my cousin fell off from the bike but he just moved on as the traffic was heavy... He claimed that he stopped somewhere further and realised that he could be the one who hit my cousin as he saw the dent on his car... So, he decided to run back, on foot, to the spot but he claimed that my cousin was nowhere to be found.... *That couldn't be true... my cousin had some difficulty in moving after the fall... An ambulance came to sent him to TTS...*

Well, that was his account....

Well, guys... I don't know what will be the outcome to this case... I shall let the traffic police investigate the case...

That is so lame.... Trust him to come up with such an excuse!

Hi Japz(Jeff),

First of all, hope your cousin is fine now. [;)]

This guy in his Subaru is really irresponsible with such an attitide.

But did your brother take down his number plate?

It would help a lot if he does...

Send my regards to your cousin.

Maz2? Drive normally also can chiak it, no need to on turbo what...

T or non T not the issue... pushes me on TPE 2nd lane when I'm cruising 95kmh...somemore sunday morning dizzy.gif

Anyway, my point to this thread is speeding may not necessary kill if driver is in control. But reckless driving is shakehead.gif coz. it means endangering others on the road..

Agreed. Reckless driving can kill, even at 50kmh, or 40kmh. There's no such thing as a safe speed actually, if you want to push the argument. Ban all cars? [:|]

Thanx bro...

The traffic police already have the details of the driver. He made a report after the accident. But, I just don't understand why he had to flee from the accident scene. Even if the traffic is bloody heavy, he should have the initiative to stop his bloody vehicle and provide aid to the victim.

Anyway, I shall reserve my comments and not assume anything. Let the traffic police handle this matter and investigate.

Thank you for your concern bro...

Thank you for your concern...

Thank god his injuries are not serious. He need not warded but the pain is really unbearable at times. He got problem moving his right shoulder and arm. He removed his bandage earlier today and the abrasions were really deep. Even the slightest movement is painful. Really pity him.

Thank you MCFers!

Hi,

Glad to know ur cousin is recovering and the driver had stepped forward. As to why he did not provide aid, he could be

1) drunk and not realise the accident there and then or

2) he was too afraid after the accident and ran away.

Though both possibilities are also not right, at least he did the right thing later and responded to your posts. Otherwise, u and te TP may still be looking for him.
