En0203 2nd Gear December 7, 2004 Share December 7, 2004 Most cars nowadays come bundled with Reverse Sensors, however, i see an increasing number of such cars with dented bumpers and boots, usually a long vertical dent, like it hit a pole. Do these devices actually work then?? i use it for wall only, better check for poles physically

Ares Neutral Newbie December 8, 2004 Share December 8, 2004 this is wat a reverse sensor is doing on mi... somemore original from toyota.. lousy stuff.. I think BM normally find the cheapest crap accessories to fit to the cars they sell us. Had problems with the alarm remote control of my G9. When press to lock, the alarm will go off occassionally. After that the alarm will refused to lock.

Diablodrns Neutral Newbie December 11, 2004 Share December 11, 2004 I have got front and rear sensors, its pretty good and convinient but it all depends on the speed at which u park if its too fast then the warning may be toolate. The sensor is v good it can even pick up things lying of the floor of the lot cheers
EventH 1st Gear December 14, 2004 Share December 14, 2004 Wow front sensors. Anyway I don't like to park head in. Always kenna scrap front bumper. Actually I am quite KS when it come to parking. Will check that there are no "foreign objects" protruding at the back or the lot. Open side door and "eyeball" the back for the last 1m or so. They're either classic examples of people who ignore warnings and alarms or people who have forgotten the simple invention called "side and rear mirrors". if u have noticed...many cars have these so-called reverse sensor... their rear bumper or worst still the car boot also got smashed up!!! always rely on your EYES...that's why god gave it to us
Fluffy Clutched December 14, 2004 Author Share December 14, 2004 yup, noticed that alot !!! and usually the dent is pretty near the sensor ! ↡ Advertisement
