Lovely [thumbsup]

But will they have to guts to bring it in ?

And, more importantly, even with the bum-rub lane departure system, how many of us will be brave to get one ?

I think for the local version people would rather pay to have the lane-departure warning removed than to be forced into signalling their lane-changing intentions...

It detects if you're straying off the lane (by looking at the markings) and vibrates that side of the seat cushion to 'wake' you up. Though this is aimed for drowsy drivers, in the local context it will mean anyone who doesn't signal as well...

The car has an innovative safety feature, whereby an element in the drivers seat will vibrate warn of any lane departure, which may happen during driver fatigue and long drives ... good for those late nite drives where you really wanna fall asleep behind the wheel ...

Yup, the transformer add was really nice ... good publicity for the car

For those who luv hatch-backs, this car will definitely be very tempting ... its a very sporty, fluid and well-designed car, packed with many unique features ... [nod]

Easy to fall in luv with this car ... and when u do, resale value is not really a factor [laugh]

No lah .. won't be "forced" whad ... mayb some drivers wld purposely stray lanes to get their bum massaged [;)]

But dunno the local version will have it or not ... local distributors tend like cutting out the frills and reduce cost in order to compete, hope it won't end up a pale shadow as compared to its European version ...

...which is kinda pointless seeing that Citroen and Peugeot have both pulled out of the WRC [:p]

Then again, that never stopped Mitsubishi either.... [laugh]

Yeah, the lane departure thing will be the first to go in local version.

Other stuff like tyre pressure sensor and speed limiter/cruise control could be dropped too in order to keep OMV low enough for pricing purposes. Less airbags (4 instead of 6) is another option.

Possible... look at local version of its rivals and you could gauge what would be the specs [nod]

By the way, laminated window is not unique to C4 leh. Renault Megane has laminated windows too I think... Opel Astra too?
