Kraft Neutral Newbie January 20, 2005 Share January 20, 2005 hmm, mine too had many bubbles at first. the guy told me it'll dry up. i forgot about it, and on the 2nd day i remembered, but couldn't find any single bubble. hmm, maybe their workmanship varies? same thing goes for my friend, no bubbles. ↡ Advertisement
DarkLord 1st Gear January 20, 2005 Share January 20, 2005 I think somewhere in this forum there's a thread for a group buy for perfectwindow. They have this promo of you fit the tint with them and intro 5 others and they refund u ya tint monies. Find 5 and divide the dollars! I got mine for $160. Had to find a group of 5 cars to get the deal!

Osiris 1st Gear January 27, 2005 Share January 27, 2005 Had a fren who did his film cheap in JB. the heat rejection isn't as good as vkool. a 10 minutes ride in the backseat can feel the heat on my shoulders liao. vkool u can feel the heat somewhat but won't feel the burning sensation. Of coz it is better then nothing. I wonder if these sub $300 film is any gd. If for tint only & some heat rejection then fine... but if u really want heat rejection ..hmmm?? Kaer Neutral Newbie January 27, 2005 Share January 27, 2005 any photos from those guys who did the tint? wana see how dark it is...
Protege 1st Gear January 27, 2005 Share January 27, 2005 If you really want heat rejection, go for those reflective one done in JB. Sure good. Cheap also. RM400. Better than V Kool. Only prob is the car inspection time then must pray that it will pass.

Paithorn Clutched January 27, 2005 Share January 27, 2005 I have done my tint for $250 at Lextint. Workmanship pretty ok. Quite patient and not pushy....You can sit there in aircon and counch with TV and wait while car is being done, about 1.5hrs They have various packages for diff heat rejection. The $250 one is 40% IRR but the VLT is just to the max allowed by LTA. They will issue you receipt showing LTA compliant for TP to see if kanna stopped. Visibilty not affected in MSRP or rain/nite. I have 2 cars done, anyone wanting to do pls contact me to be inluded in my list for the rebate.
Paithorn Clutched January 27, 2005 Share January 27, 2005 their workmanship & service not bad. but the films used for the $200 package are the cheaper darker variety and has very low heat rejection (ard 18% onli) and transparency not that clear. i would recommend u go for their $488 package which uses Ray Barrier film (quite good & clear) for the front half (70% VLT) and the dark tint for the rear half (25% VLT). confirm chio JDM-look. The $250 one is 40% IRR...as for the VLT, all are maxed up to the LTA standard(74% and 25%) VLT. Got many coulors to choose from too. I did mine Blue to be same as my car paintwork. ↡ Advertisement
