after pumping the fuel; start engine & the "malfunction indicator light" always on; make a trip down to Riverview Auto & they use dyno tool for checking & found that my O2 sensor reads "high voltage" & lucky he able to help me to reset it.

any body know what really happen? i did not mod my exhaust. driving a ES5 civic 2004

yr 2004 civic still under warranty, rite? how come u head to riverview instead of KM? confused.gif actually, shld not reset it but instead head on down to KM for them to run the data thru the diagnostic machine to pinpoint the problem. once reset, data wipe out liao.

i tink you're referring to the CEL. the warning is triggered when the ECU detects any abnormality and not necessarily just at the exhaust. unless the mods are super hardcore (in which case, the exhaust would be modded too), i'd recommend u go back to KM and try yr luck as modern car EM systems can be quite complex.

it's like some unknown illness, won't get better by juz taking panadol. hv to see specialist.

unlikely a blown fuse. but could be many things but it's usually due to faulty or dirty O2 sensors or MAF. a faulty sensor will send the wrong signal to the ECU and it detects it and triggers the CEL. there's no point trying to second guess it that's why it's advisable to bring it to the agent to hook up to their diagnostic machine.
