Not bad actually. With heavy foot, I managed 12.5-13km/L. Your Honda should do better but a 5W20 will work wonders for it.

The additive thing seems quite true. Caltex in JB is either Silver or Gold. Silver is the red nozzle and is RON92. It is a leaded fuel and the nozzle cannot fit into the fuel port of my car.

Genie,

actually there's no more leaded petrol in M'sia, regardless of whether it's RON92 or 97, since many years back. And, if my memory didn't fail me, Esso used to sell lead substitute additives at their stations because of this to cater for older cars.

And, if you're really desperate to try the RON92, try bringing a funnel when refuelling! [sweatdrop]

What is this red pump then? They rate it as RON92 but if it is unleaded, why can't our cars use it. Is it done deliberately to make Singapore cars pump the more expensive RON97 they have? confused.gif Not that I am complaining about their prices compared to ours.

Oops! Busted! [sweatdrop][laugh]

I've got no idea... probably bcoz they wanna prevent the newer cars from using the lower octane petrol as most new cars are designed for higher octane, what with their increasingly higher compression ratio.
