Anyone bros here noe where the antenna of the FL N16 is situated? I was installing the new pioneer head unit when i saw a blue/white remote wire linking to power up the auto antenna once head unit turns on.

It's relative, when they say sunny drink a lot, they never quantify it. B4 I buy, they tell me drink a lot. then I found out it's "average"

My Sunny average 10km/l. that's about the same as an optra(Auto), why don't they say optra drink alot?

Compare to a Vios 15km/l yes, Sunny drink a lot.

 

 

Drink a lot to me is in the region of 7-8km/l. But yes, FC is on the high side.

 

Anyway the new latio Run in is between 13-16km/l.

 

Also, if you are buying the older Sunny, the auto does 12-13km/l

If you travel a lot, then go for a car with a better FC.

thats interesting to noe! and i should say the japanese are so clever in doing that. Perhaps the auto antenna on the pre FLs are causing too much damage while parking in MSCP thats y they do it this way!

Im still running in my 5 days old sunny (auto) and im getting 10km/l at this stage with super light footed - 50% highway 50% city driving. Expecting to improve 5-10% after running in.

 

Its better than what i expected thou. Same FC as my previous proton wira (manual) of 5 yrs age.

 

I word of advice is - the best way to compare FC is not against other makes. It is to compare against your old ride, if any. For me, i cant be more happier to noe that my current FC (sunny auto) is in fact better than my prev ride (manual)!

 

Its true that sunny earns itself a bad name as a drinker after 5 years since its first debut. Korean makes are worst off! VVTI and IDSI are out of the question as a basis for comparison for sure.

Bros out there, i will be installing ICE on my ride this weekend myself. Any bros out here noe the correct way to remove the silver dark chrome power window panel on the front doors without scratching the panel??

 

Any tips on "tearing" the other parts of the sunny such as passenger seat, OEM speakers etc

that i should look out for??

Just a quicky check with you guys.. I've been checking around on the streets and saw two kinda 'Skirtings' for Sunny 04, how to tell which is original? Sorry, I'm kinda new here. And I had just went ahead with fixing them up for $1200 (Front, Rear, Side skirts and Front Gornard)... is it expensive?

Actually, they quote me $880 (include spraying) for 4pc kit. I added a front gurnard for $200... so abit ex. But they promised me that once everythin had been pre-sprayed, they can hook it up within 9hours. And that was why I went ahead with it cos I can't afford to leave my car in for more then a day.. heheh.. i'm a heavy user..kekekek. I was acutally more worried about their workmanship..they said that no riverting is involve, which to me is a relief. What da ya think?

 

Btw, still hadn't had the chance to meet up with ya. :)

anyway there isnt any real or fake body kits they are there to jus beautify ur ride. be it real or fake if it suits u. u shld be happy rite? anyway if u had installed it with tan cheong motors those are not real nismo kits frm japan too. and 1.2k is relaly very ex i think if u did it with tan cheong its wad 1k izzit? im not too sure i did my with frisk anythin dat u need jus pm me

BTW, Tan CHong did quote me around 1.2k but i spoke to their mech on the phone and he damn hao lian. I told him that i didn't want a spoiler but he die die also say have to charge for it. So i didn't go for it. Anyway, after that, my agent also told me that they ran outta stock so at the time being, they are not offering Bodykit's package. But then, all these happened in the month of early April. Situation might change now... i dunno.

 

Like i mentioned in my reply to PM, i think i'm gonna be the first geaniue pig liao for this shop i'm going for. Shan't publish the shop name yet, but if their job is good. I will definitely share it with the Nisssaners here. and maybe post a pic or two of the car by then. ;) *keepin finger crossed* I'm still waiting for their call.. haiz... can't wait to see the results! ahhaha

Hopefully the workmanship is good. My friend's Tan Chong original rear bumper BK actually came off slightly on its own.

Wah.. didn't know that Tan Chong's mech so terok one..

 

Anyway, I think that 'Add On' bodykit to my front bumper is called Gurnard, or so the mech told me.But my friends told me they are called Corners Splitters. I got some pics attach to show how it's roughly look like.
