Tell you one story that happened during my NS Ops days.

There were this pair of prowlers doing duty. Lao jiao already..

Walking and chatting..

Then suddenly see 2 guys utting a hole in the rear fence and coming in.

 

 

Dunno what to do sia.. So instead of the usual "Halt", now you see actual ppl cutting the fence.. 2 fella somemore..

So one loaded his rifle immediately, and cxxk !

The other shouted "Halt" and radio the Guardroom.

The 2 fella immediately raise their hands..

 

So BOS come, DO come, DFO came back to camp. RSM came back to camp.

 

Those 2 fellas ? Spot check from MSD.

Their assessment of the camp is Security Very Good. ! But not according to proper procedure (cannot load without seeing weapon lah, but the arguement was that it was dark, they were near each other, and wirecutter can also be used as weapon).

 

Can see the 2 MSD officers leg shaking.

Then after they left, the RSM scold them for not following exact procedures.. and say how can cxxk .. can load, but cocking and firing only last resort..

 

Then RSM need to clear arm.. Take out magazine.. Then RSM laugh damn loud..

The poor bugger who is so nervous about meeting an actual intruder, he loaded the magazine upside down.. And the 2 MSD officers, scared until cannot see that the magazine to-beng..

That air blowing there is for anti-fog purposes when the air inside the car warms up faster than the air outside, which almost NEVER happens in Sg... so yea a normal car wld function properly by allowing u to shut off that AC vent. Coz the AC wld be better blowing from the dashboard in fornt of u instead of the windscreen right?

Yeah. Right.

I think they only turn down the vent by 50%-80%.

So now all is ok lah. Doesn't bother me any more..

 

So you can actually get them to turn it down for you.
