i bought 2nd hand car and i got 3 econ-continental tyres and 1 bridgestone stock tyres...should i change my 1 stock bridgestone to econ?

Huh? U mean your have currently on your vehicle 2 types of tyres?

ya...both front is ContiEcoContact CP

right back is ContiEcoContact CP

left back is Bridgestone stock tyre

 

 

 

i don't know much about tyres...is ContiEcoContact CP a better one compare to the stock one?

my suggestion is bite the bullet and change all 4 tyre and go for wheel alignment and balancing

also check suspensions

 

 

if the bridgestone is the b391 crap they give, yes conti is better, but b391 is quieter

i can't afford to change the tyres now...what is the best solution? change to the remaining 1 tyre to ContiEcoContact CP? how much is roughly one?

no pt, cos uneven wear rate

change 2 new tyre, put at back

use the best 2 conti out of the 3 in front

 

next time round, move those new tyre to front, buy 2 new stick behind

Check the wear on the 3 conti tires.

 

If they r still pretty new, change the BS to the same conti tire but if the conti's r already worn change all 4 to the same type.

 

U can have two types of tires on your car but the same type must b on the same axle. This is bcos diff tires have diff kind of grip.

 

Diff type of tires on same axle will lead to handling problems & skidding.

 

But best is all 4 tires of same type.

I had a fren who used CSC but they only stated "German Technology". Cud not find where they r made in. I checked with a tire shop who told me most conti tires come from S.Africa.

 

That cud b the reason for the low price.
