Thunder Neutral Newbie April 25, 2005 Share April 25, 2005 I am thinking of changing my rim and tyres to a set larger than my original external diameter. However, was told that speedo will not be accurate anymore. Does anyone know if speedo can be re-calibrated and where to do this? Thanks. ↡ Advertisement
Yeobh 4th Gear April 29, 2005 Share April 29, 2005 Both mechanical drive type and electronic singal type can be adjusted to compensate for tyre size. Up to the early 80's there is only one company that do calibration on mechnical drive meter as they were the agent for Smith meters.Have not come across any one doing electronic calibration in Singapore. ↡ Advertisement
