Corsasg Neutral Newbie November 15, 2005 Share November 15, 2005 The US aveo is 1.6L. Not sure if they are using the same braking system. Can you help me confirm if our sing aveo can use the US parts? You have not changed your pads yet? Thought your mileage already quite high. ↡ Advertisement

Genie47 1st Gear November 18, 2005 Author Share November 18, 2005 Since the Civics are also 4X100 PCD, if their rotors are 256mm then I believe performance rotors from Civics might be able to fit.

Genie47 1st Gear November 20, 2005 Author Share November 20, 2005 Very hard braking will screw the rotor. I don't have this problem. Very gentle on braking so far even with an occasional LFB.

Fortress Clutched November 20, 2005 Share November 20, 2005 Qute easy to change brake pads. 1. take the wheels out, 2. remove 2 bolts, 3. open the brake oil cap, 4. unclip the brake pad, 5. widen the cliper using a long screwdriver(if you do not have a inverted clamp), 6. clip the new pad on. 7. Put back everything save you about S$100. ↡ Advertisement
