I can guess what is look like. It is about 4-5cm in diameter, black, foam like tube.

 

I just wondering how you mount on to pipe. Cut the tube to put on or open the pipe and let in? Because inside the pipe is the coolant which very easy to vaporate.

 

My wagon has a cool down problem. Last I check my aircon and found there quite long pipe is exposed and suggested to cover. But some experter say it not neccessary.

Yes you are right it is black, foam like tube, diameter i not very sure but i think about there.

 

I cut the tube to put it on and tied it up. Open the pipe will be too "siong" for me.

Easy lah! Just take picture with digicam. Make sure size of the picture is small. I recommend 560 pixels width or 500 pixels height (keep aspect ratio). Upload as attachment. Don't make it inline can already.

Just to add to Our Kind Chevy contribution on wrapping the Air Con piping.

It is good to wrap up the expose metal piping with those left

over "Insulation Tube used for Home Air Con". It will be much better to further wrap-up the Rubberised Insulator with "Aluminium Foil" to prevent condenastion. Air Con colling will further improve.
