Hey, a fren was telling me to get GR80 as well, however, precedas seem to be the hotter topic. Whats ur take on which one's better?

Hi,

Anyone can help me out here?

I looking for 16" tires that has the following

- Extremely low noise

- Comfort drive

- Moderate good road grip on wet and dry

Any experts?

And the cost?

Can consider Michelin Pilot Precedas or Bridgestone Truanza GR80.nod.gif

IMHO, Precedas would be better in the grip department than GR80. However, if considering quiet and comfort as priority, perhaps GR80 would be a better choice.

It is moderate grip leh... [:|] am on it for 12k and i dun feel the grip as good as my previous ST115...but for sure the wear is veri minimum

Bro, u r humble man [:)] ...i don think the precedas are just moderate of their grip [sly] but then again, wat are u comparing with? Slicks? [:p]

Michelin Preceda? I'm on 17 and it's fits all your criteria...

although these established coy will have quality section to ensure their products consistent with their policies...there is still differences in the overall output of the products...i have already heard complaints from my frz owning altis there are alot of joints not finishes nicely and alignment of the joints not balance....for vios they were complaining the running of wiring is chaotic and dangerous...(when they installed their ICEs)...

end of the day, cheaper to produce means lower omv means lower cost to end consumer but also means bigger profit margin to stealerships

same applies to tyres/any goods made worldwide/cheaper countries

if its good n cheap enuff and u like it, buy it [laugh]
