i can tell u not much difference for stuff like tyres

come on its only rubber and steel belts, technology and design is the same

intel makes its processors worldwide, philipines, malaysia, coasta rica blah blah

they all run the same ghz, just maybe one can overclock better than the other

as long as the rubber is fresh within 1/2 to 1 yr (check the date of manufacture on sidewall) and the price is cheap then buy lor

no leh...those fellow wont lower omv and cost lor...they will still blow them up and earn big money lor....why a lancer made in japan cost cheaper than a altis?? they are just trying to exploit consumer belief on their established brand and earn more without much changes in their current selling price but cutting back on their costs.....

Well, I have nothing to compare with since I changed to Precedas immediately on collection. But I did choose Precedas after some prelim research on Internet, which results you can already see on this thread [:p]. However, I do feel quite confident in my car's handling - cornering and braking - but I haven't really pushed round corners hard. [:p] Noise-wise, they sound quiet enough for me. [thumbsup]

Hi,

Anyone can help me out here?

I looking for 16" tires that has the following

- Extremely low noise

- Comfort drive

- Moderate good road grip on wet and dry

Any experts?

And the cost?

Precedas are not the most grippy tires considering they are in the sports tire category.

Mine has rather poor sideway grip when pushed real hard. All 4 tires loose traction going sideways. I think its due to the soft sidewall compound, and of course, my lousy driving [shakehead]

Noise wise, there is a slight rumbling at low speeds compared to my previous aspec db, but at >80kmh, no tires will be quiet. Its all due to the car's soundproofing. [:)]

Its comfortable though, not exactly noticible, but due to the aspec db's reinforced sidewalls, its a stiffer ride compared to the precedas. [thumbsup]

I second that. Even the best tyres characteristic will change as they wear out and harden over time.

Might be better to get cheaper alternative (from thailand or taiwan) and change more regularly.
