Pauly75ts Neutral Newbie July 3, 2005 Share July 3, 2005 (edited) "anyone who has encounter this problem before???" Hi! there, Schneider79, It'd be easier for you to ask the question at the BMWSG site. http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/index.php?sid...13fb013f691ecc4 Rgds Paul Yong Edited July 3, 2005 by Pauly75ts
Vit4wd 1st Gear July 5, 2005 Share July 5, 2005 Maybe you can ask the previous owner. Such electronic problem is very common in BMW cars. You are in the car trade, and should know. Going back to Performance Mtrs is gonna eat into your profit. They charge sky high fees.
BMW320i Neutral Newbie July 7, 2005 Share July 7, 2005 I would assume is a PFL one ? Try doing an OBII scan and see if the problem surface. You'll need 1 of those handheld OBII computer to check though. That should pinpoint your problem.

Carcarcar Neutral Newbie August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 Hi, thinking of buying a BMW 630 or 645.. any advise? tks
BMW320i Neutral Newbie August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 645Ci. Silent killer during low rev. On high rev, you'll unleash the V8 power + Devilish rev note is. Or rather, just wait for M6. Provided PML even decide to bring it in. Is there any other preference other than BMW 6er ? CLK not bad either

BMW320i Neutral Newbie August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 You always like to spoil people's market leh. People ask 645 or 630 you 650. Wheres my M5
BMW320i Neutral Newbie August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 Depends what your after. The 3 and 5 differs small family to mid size family sedan respectively. For that extra bit of money, its a size to size comparison. Motor is somewhat the same.
Porker Turbocharged August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 Specifics... 630 --- more finesse with better fuel economy (not that this is a concern if you're going for 3L engines) 645 --- GT... good for long haul trips A word of caution --- the back seats are for midgets unless the front passenger seat and driver's seat are pushed way up front. I had to bend down my head while seated at the back and I'm 178cm tall.
Emiffy Neutral Newbie August 29, 2005 Share August 29, 2005 Previous generation BMW 3-series 320i (E46) and 5-series 520i (E39) use the same M52/M54 engines. Current generation 3-series 320i (E90) uses a 4-cylinder valvetronic engine (N42). No more current generation (E60) 520i, the entry level is 523i which is a 2.5L N62 6-cylinder engine. Previously, the E60 520i uses the same M54 engine as the E39 520i. Hope this doesn't confuse you more than clarify.
