Jhoo Neutral Newbie July 25, 2005 Share July 25, 2005 Overall is still nice design. Just looking into finer details, the kit is not 100% fitting (workmanship?) . You still can see non uniform gaps near the front and light area. Lancer has a flushed side wheel arc which does not compliment the front bumper. Sparcoray Clutched July 28, 2005 Share July 28, 2005 Each NA cars have its peak performance which most drivers dun dare to push the car to the limits due to the fact that most SG cars are on 10yrs loan so u keep chionging ur ride.... less than 5yrs, the car might need a massive overhaul of the engine. That's my personal opinion... on ur experience.... 1. TS might lose out on pick-up but it's a AWD and it have the torque for high speed. 2. Civic is one of the best NA cars on the road and most of the NA cars can't beat a civic in terms of performance... I meant STOCK vs STOCK 3. Overall, I guess that u yet to see some plain-looking NA cars on the road that are considered "FAST" cars which can out-beat ur ride anytime but it's up to individual drivers. Wat matters is under-the-hood stuffs the enhance the car performance. Racing in SG is illegal, if you wan to race with other NA cars... best to go PG and test out the max. performance of ur ride against other rides. U'll see the difference after ur PG trip.... Ahdi Neutral Newbie July 29, 2005 Share July 29, 2005 yep..it has its unique look..bodykits are jus to enhance its sportines... but changing the whole bumper... wad i think is, the car shld be faster than wad it looks like..so when ppl look down on u, i'll smoke them all the way.... in this particular case of the thread starter cousin, i believe, its jus the bodykits mods, and the engine are modded, would easily be smoked by other cars. Takanori Neutral Newbie July 30, 2005 Share July 30, 2005 After driving all types of NA car, in my opinion, Toyota Corolla is the car tat I can feel every inch of power when u step the accelerator. Even Civic VTI still abit reluctant when step on. Corolla I hit 220kph on NSH but VTI hit 180 can feel engine is crying 4 help. I dunno my frenz got do anything to his corolla but his ride is the best I drove eva. The best of all is the FC is amazing minimum. Lancer may luk sportier than other NA 1.6 car but the performance is way benneath her big bro, evo. I can feel colt 1.5 is much more active than 1.6 lancer(A). Popok 1st Gear August 8, 2005 Share August 8, 2005 i rarely post here in mcf... but when see pple say toyota corolla good must support..hhehe i'm drving a g9..an i can say is, its a good car..can feel the power..feel more responsive to some lancers i've driven. i got up to 170km/hr on the way to kl, fully loaded with total of 4pax and some bags mine's a stock auto g9..
