Longblack Neutral Newbie November 11, 2005 Share November 11, 2005 Hi BlueDevil, Β What is the Limited Edition? Any different on the looks and specification? Β Cheers
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie November 11, 2005 Share November 11, 2005 Hi Mavloo, Β Sama sama! Take a good look at it when it is under the sun. Damned good looking one! Then imagine it with full Mugen body kit... Β Cheers!
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie November 11, 2005 Share November 11, 2005 Hi Longblack, Β Not too sure. I just happen to see it when I was exiting Rochor from ECP. A quick glance, I noticed that there is Limited Edition tag on the left side of the car's butt. Inside you'll have the 7 speed and it has 3 guages located at the dashboard. Appearance wise, it looks like the active package with 15 or 16" rims and low profile tires. Β Understand from one PI at Ubi, this edition will set you back 80K++! Expensive man!! But damn Chio! Β Hopefully the driver reads this and can have a meet up to see the diff, man! Β Cheers!
Mavloo Neutral Newbie November 11, 2005 Share November 11, 2005 hahaha yar boy.. can't wait for the Mugen kit... Β
Longblack Neutral Newbie November 11, 2005 Share November 11, 2005 Hi BlueDevil, Β Wow... may need to hunt for the car to meet...but sometime's the badge/tag is an add-on accessorries...like my house car-park got so many "TYPE-R" whether is a Honda or other brands... as for the guage should be the after-market value timer etc... Β Maybe I will ask Mrs longblack to add "TURBO" on the back too ...just kidding Β Cheers
Micro Neutral Newbie November 12, 2005 Share November 12, 2005 Agreee with longblack it should be the active package...the limited edition tag can be bought off the shelves.
Micro Neutral Newbie November 12, 2005 Share November 12, 2005 Hi Bluedevil and 05, Β I don,t seem to have problems activating the mirrors without turning on my engine since day 1 but dimming of the cabin lights yes but im thinking of installing a voltage stabilizer if it helps. Β Longblack any news on the plate.
Longblack Neutral Newbie November 13, 2005 Share November 13, 2005 Hi Micro, Β Sorry bro, I was busy this few weeks... will update soon... Β Cheers
Airwave05 Neutral Newbie November 13, 2005 Share November 13, 2005 Hi Micro Β As for me, never tried activating the Wing Mirrors while engine is off...cause I turn the key to ignition once I hope into the car. Β I hv the PIVOT Voltage Stabilizer + grounding installed some 1.5 mths ago. No diff. Β According to a mechanic, if the engine is running, the issue lies with alternator/bulb, and not battery. So I'm[dizzy]. Β If anyone manage to resolve this, kindly advise us on the remedy. Β Cheers!
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie November 14, 2005 Share November 14, 2005 Hi Micro, Β Agree. But before I bought my Airwave, I was introduce by 1 PI in Ubi that there is such a model. And the price is around 80K++. Β Cheers.
Bluedevil Neutral Newbie November 14, 2005 Share November 14, 2005 Hi Airwave05, Β Do you notice any improvements after you install your PIVOT Voltage Stabilizer? Thinking of installing one this weekend. Β Cheers.
Airwave05 Neutral Newbie November 14, 2005 Share November 14, 2005 Hi BlueD Β Installed the PIVOT VS 3 days after collection. So can't give u any convincing advantages. Β On the whole, VS + grounding is a good thing to have. At least for the grounding. Looking at the whole circuitry, u will notice that battery -ve point is connected to the chasis. If u hv more grounding cable connected near ignition head, ECU, alternator, aircon compressor etc.. it complete the close circuit (12V) much faster . Β With the VS, it ensure constant Voltage throughout all your electrical component. Β My first impression was that the Aircon is much cooler ..... well, very subjective right? Β VERDICT : Only $160.00. No regrets! Β Β Β Hi Micro Β Met another Black Airwave owner near my area yesterday (non MCF member). Based on his previous experience in jump starting other cars:- Β 1) Jump start with engine on => the "dead engine" car did not wake up 2) Tried with Engine off + solely on car battery = > The car resurrected. Β Conclusion = alternator is not everything. Was also advise by my ICE specialist to up-size my car battery to boost the overall current supply i.e. to minimise the effect when the aircon compressor cuts in. Β So I waited no further, and went down to AUTOBACS today to change my 40AH Battery to 55AH (Varta Maintenance Free). Β Did a test on the interior reading light (Blasting the Aircon). Seems like it has improve significantly. Β Anyway, a bigger battery gives me PEACE OF MIND especially if I am caught in a massive Traffic jam. Β Cheers! Bluedevil Neutral Newbie November 15, 2005 Share November 15, 2005 Hi Airwave05, Β Will be doing the VS thing this weekend or the next ! As for the batt, how much they charged you? Includes installation? What's on your next change list man? Β Hey, there is a car expo coming up next week, any Airwavers attending? Β Cheers! β‘ Advertisement
