  1. Bros, ytd one of my tyres went COMPLETELY FLAT..yes..COMPLETELY!! thanks to a piece of metal had to switched to spare tyre and slowly drive to Autobacs to repair my original tire.. so now my question is, is it safe to carry on driving with the patched tires? and how fast can i go? coz i usually go up north..and my speed is in excess of 140kmh..
  2. Hi guys, One of my tyre had a 2" screw stucked in it yesterday. The guy at the shop managed to patch it back by stuffing some rubber piece into the puncture. (Not sure whats the term used) My question is, is this process safe for the tyre. My tyres are only 1 year old, quite a waste to change just 1 tyre. Thanks alot!
  3. Remember when double cab(four doors) pickup was popular 10 years ago, the government quickly imposed super high tax on such pickups to prevent normal citizens from using it as family car. Check out this new Peogeot VAN.....drives like a car, looks like a car, infact it looks good. Diesel fuel is cheap. Got petrol version also (like the petrol version Kangroo van) I hope the gov will not come up with some new law to overtax this type of VAN to death. http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/article.php?AID=613 If this is priced at ~$35k.....wow....it would be a best seller.....if only this was launched during the goodsvehicle $1 a few months back!
  4. I've just got a punctured tyre. Will patch it soon. I'll like to know if it's safe to travel at high speed (>160km/h) with a patched tyre because I travel to Malaysia often. My tyres are Michelin Pilot Preceda (205/45/R16). Advice pls. TIA !
