  1. Thnik about it, the world will be facing oil shortage soon, likely the world will be moving to find other sources of energy. It would be unavoidable that Singapore will need to build one Nucluar Power Plant in future ( Can't escape it ) . So like it or not it would be a solution for high electricity price and also to reduce the demand of oil. More and more country will also move towards nucular power plants in future. Well.. looks like no choice of a choice.
  2. Along with death and taxes, I think swirl marks is next. My 1 month old Civic already got some swirl marks, despite the extreme care I put in. Once I come to the realisation, I'm much happier now. I'll just "encase" my car in layers upon layers of wax, to camouflage the swirl marks. If anybody has a way to avoid swirl marks, please share with me. But for now, I try not to let it bother me too much

SUV hits divider, lands on Merc All three in Merc die, SUV driver in intensive care January 09, 2007 BUSINESSMAN Yap Fook Cheng loved fish and he regularly visited a fishing village near Taiping. The 4WD that flipped over. Yesterday morning, he took his sister, Ms Yap Ah Kwai, 69, and a friend, Mr Low Ah Ha, along to buy fish. But as they were returning to Ipoh along the North-South Highway, tragedy struck. A four-wheel drive SUV coming from the opposite directon lost control, jumped the concrete divider and landed on top of the Mercedes driven by Mr Yap. All three occupants of the Mercedes died on the spot in the 10 am crash. The roof of the Mercedes was flattened in the impact and the bodies of the three had to be extricated by firemen. Kuala Kangsar police Supt Zakaria Pagan told The Star that Mr Yap had been on his way back to Ipoh while the SUV had been going in the opposite direction, heading north. An icebox containing fish was found in the boot of Mr Yap's car when firemen arrived to extricate their bodies from the wreckage, he said. 'LOST CONTROL' 'The driver of the four-wheel drive was believed to have lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the concrete divider of the expressway before landing on top of the oncoming car,' he told reporters. Rescue workers trying to get someone out of the back seat of the Merc. 'The road was probably slippery as it had just rained.' Mr Yap, 52, was driving while his sister had been seated at the back. His friend, a 59-year-old retired postal officer, had been seated in front. Mr Mohd Ibrahim Mohd Ali, whose car was behind Mr Yap's car when the crash took place, said he was lucky to have braked in time. 'I was shocked to see the 4WD coming at us from the other side of the highway. Everything happened so fast. 'I was shocked to see the vehicle crashing into the car in front of me,' he told the New Straits Times. Mr Ibrahim said he alerted the police and the fire force before stepping out of his car to attend to the SUV driver, Mr Wong Peang Chu, 51, from Kuala Lumpur. Mr Wong had been travelling alone in his Nissan X-Trail. He suffered head and neck injuries and was rushed to the Ipoh Hospital, where he is in the intensive care unit. Mr Ibrahim said he and his wife were sending their teenage son to Universiti Teknologi Mara in Shah Alam when the accident happened.
