  1. OK folks I dun usually watch korean drama but I find this plot quite amazing. It's about the story of a girl who has a special ability to see the lifespan of everyone including herself. So she knows how long more u have to live right up till the last seconds. In the drama, she only has 100+ days left to live. It's just been released in Korea on 21st May 2018. I find it interesting because if u have such an ability, what would u do? Try to play God? What would u do if you see the stranger right next to u with 1 min of her life left? Watch it if u have 5 mins of time to spare. It's a short "trailer"/footage from the drama. https://www.facebook.com/Dramamazing/videos/1806430732754253/UzpfSTYyODk1NTM1OToxMDE2MDUzNDkwOTEwMDM2MA/
  2. Another PRC turned SINGER sauning Singaporean's bilingual ability, or the lack of on overseas forum... From his post, he clearly thinks most singers are pretty inferior where spoken language goes So what's new http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread.php?1...se-localization By Viewport Please let us contribute Chinese localization? Hi developers and gamers! I haven't bought XCom yet, too busy. And I do habitually wait 6-12 months after release for the bugs to fall off. (bought Civ 5 and played it 12 months later, it was fabulous) I'm thinking I may buy XCom in Jan or Feb. I see the forums talk of many bugs still. But I'm glad they also tell me that XCom is the game I've been wanting. It's tough, realistic, gritty. Even to the extent that many casual gamers (those not prone to sholarly study of facts and figures and random-number-generators in games) mistakenly label XCom as "broken and unfair". And if I can't pay more for it, I might as well contribute to it (see request below). I'm once again trying my luck with developers with regards localization. I wanna do a Chinese translation for free, and have it incorporated officially. (Tried and failed with Mass Effect trilogy, plus a few other AAA titles. Am surprised to find XBox's Gear of War has Chinese, but not PC's.) Why? I want my wife and her family to share my joys in gaming. Yes, we WERE from China, but we live and contribute in Singapore now. No, we don't pirate games (you know Singapore, right?). I only believe in official updates and bug-fixes (not open-sourced, can't check for malware myself). (I maintain strong biz ties with China. My Chinese accent is fluent, expressive, original. I don't speak the Chinese used in Singapore: stunted, handicapped in both enunciation and vocab. Hence, my enjoyment of Chinese still. I speak USA English, by the way. Singapore English is also stunted, but not as much as Singapore Chinese.) In short, please do allow for Chinese localization? Publish it only in Singapore if you want. Or even in USA/Europe, where I'm sure there are lots of Chinese-speaking folks. Ok, I do realize how pointless that localization effort will be. There's also the question of Taiwan or China Chinese characters (old and new). Taiwan market is richer, but China's Chinese is more standard and widely used. Similar to how USA market is generally richer (uses "yards", "ounces", rather than "meters"), but the metric system is more widely used. Your choice. We can do either one. My wife will join the translation fun too. If I can't play together with my wife, I'm probably gonna give XCom a miss until Oct 2013 (after a long trip to Europe). Yes, I'm the only (rare) one who has perfect USA English and China Chinese mastery. Long story how I got there. Let's talk about XCom. :-) Please please let us do a Chinese translation?
  3. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...ory_216836.html Many families live beyond their means, have wrong priorities Community welfare organisations can help promote sound values: PM By Zakir Hussain SINGAPOREANS who spend beyond their means and have to go to their MPs for help were placed under the spotlight by none other than Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday. He noted that as MPs, 'we often see families who have over-committed themselves financially' - for instance those who have been 'extravagant in doing up their homes using renovation loans', or 'bought expensive furniture or large screen TV sets on hire purchase'. 'The ones with the most serious problems have bought homes which are larger than they can afford, and taken mortgages which they are then unable to pay,' he said. Mr Lee was speaking at the 60th anniversary dinner of the Malay Youth Literary Association (popularly known by its Malay acronym 4PM), a community welfare organisation that helps young Malays. While families who live beyond their means come from all races, 'quite a few are Malay families', he noted. 'It is a sensitive matter to raise, but all MPs and social workers know that it is a real issue that needs to be tackled,' he added. Contacted by The Straits Times, Tampines GRC MP Masagos Zulkifli said he sees at least one such case a week - for example, a family living in a flat it cannot afford, or one that needs help preventing its TVs or stereo sets from being repossessed. Some come with the latest mobile phones, a clear sign they have wrong priorities, he said.
  4. I afraid that the ES5 relearning capability is very strong../.. That means that wat ever capsule or monster u throw in...4-5 tanks later...no effect liao There is no way that altering the A/F ratio will the ECU keep that it that way.. Under closed Loop..the O2 sensor will feedbak to the ecu keeping it ideally 14.7.It can extent the injector pulse width or shorten the pulse width to correct the ratio. Under partial throttle or idling , the ecu will start calibrating the short term value. So after a few tanks, it will start triming the Long term value...so that the short term function no need to trim at fuel meaning 0% However under open loop, the ecu will ignore the o2 reading and inject the fuel according to the fuel map...however is the Long term valve is -1%, then the overall fuel will be -1% of the fuel table. When the ECU is reset, the idling original fuel valve is at 0.9V(13.23)...idealy is 1V. What happens is that it uses real time valve, engine condition and uses cloesd loop feedback to bring ratio to 14.7 Thats why went u reset ECU ur FC will suffer and slowly better as time goes by... So very sad leh.... thats when unichip/orbit comes it...It doesnt alter AF ratio under closed loop..in fact it promotes 14.7. At close loop it doesnt trim af ratio,,,..it changes ignition timing..The ecu will not trim the ignition timing,. Standalone ECU even better but very EX$ Just to tell the bro here...the ecu relearn ability is there so be careful in choosing ur mod and the more Emmsion controlled the car is the more power is the learning ability
