  1. Summit haven started already so happening! TWO SOUTH KOREAN MEDIA PERSONNEL ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL TRESPASS On 7 June 2018 at about 3.50pm, the Police received a report of a case of criminal trespass into the residence of the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Two South Korean men, aged 42 and 45, who were representing the Korean Broadcasting System News, were arrested in relation to the case. One 31-year-old South Korean man, who was representing the Korean Broadcasting System News, is under investigations. Another 29-year-old South Korean man, who was the guide and interpreter for the group, is also under investigations. The three men who were representing the Korean Broadcasting System News are not accredited media personnel in Singapore. Police investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted of criminal trespass under Section 447 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, may be punished with imprisonment of up to three months, or a fine of up to $1,500, or both. The Police would like to remind all foreigners visiting Singapore to abide by our laws. Those who break the law will be dealt with firmly, and this may include termination of visas and repatriation. Members of the media who commit any offence in Singapore will also not be accredited and thus will not be able to cover the Summit between the United States of America and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. http://www.facebook.com/singaporepoliceforce/posts/10157537022909408
  2. I just received an advisory letter from them. They said the offence was on 21st Feb 2010 @ PIE towards tuas on a 80kmh speed limit road.Their patrol officer clock me 96kmh.Could have been fine 130 and 4 demerit points. However this is just an advisory leeter but they will keep the details for records. To bro out there just be more alert and careful nowadays. My freind who is a Cabbie have gotten 2 letters but unfortunately the third one he was clock 112kmh on a 90kmh speed limit road.4 points gone and 130 burn.A bitter lesson learned.
  3. Please be more attentive when you use a handphone. I almost had a side swipe with a taxi entering CTE from braddell towards city because he was using a handphone and drifting into my lane. Gave him a loud blast of my horn to warn him. Using your handphone takes away concentration on the road, yes it does, no matter how skilled you are. My friend, when he does sms while driving, his car speed goes lower and he drifts here and there which I really really dislike. So please, stop at the side to use the handphone or dont use at all thank you.
  4. Hi fellow members, I received a letter from National Environment Agency stating my vehicle while idling, failed to stop my engine. Time and place were even stated!!! I recalled that during that particular time, I parked my car by the side of a HDB block and run across the road to an ATM machine. My wife and son were waiting in the car for me... The letter also states that is is an offence under the Environmentral Pollution Control (Vehicular Emissions) Regulations 1999 for any driver of any motor vehicle not to stop the engine when stationary other than traffic conditions. Must be some bo liao resident complained, can't stand my FGK exos notes... Any bros ever receive such letters?

  6. Saw this on the news on TV last nite. Pls go to the below link for full details. http://www.nokia.com/batteryreplacement/en/ Product Advisory: Nokia BL-5C battery Please select the language : English 日本語 Dear Nokia Customer, This is a product advisory for the Nokia-branded BL-5C battery manufactured by Matsushita Battery Industrial Co. Ltd. of Japan between December 2005 and November 2006. This product advisory does not apply to any other Nokia battery. Nokia has identified that in very rare cases the affected batteries could potentially experience over heating initiated by a short circuit while charging, causing the battery to dislodge. Nokia is working closely with relevant local authorities to investigate this situation. Nokia has several suppliers for BL-5C batteries that have collectively produced more than 300 million BL-5C batteries. This advisory applies only to the 46 million batteries manufactured by Matsushita between December 2005 and November 2006. There have been approximately 100 incidents of over heating reported globally. No serious injuries or property damage have been reported. Consumers with a BL-5C battery subject to this advisory should note that all of the approximately 100 incidents have occurred while charging the battery. According to Nokia's knowledge this issue does not affect any other use of the mobile device. Concerned consumers may want to monitor a mobile device while charging that contains a BL-5C battery subject to this product advisory. While the occurence in the BL-5C batteries produced by Matsushita in the time-period specified is very rare, for consumers wishing to do so, Nokia and Matsushita offer to replace for free any BL-5C battery subject to this product advisory. The BL-5C batteries which are subject to the product advisory were used with the following Nokia models or separately as accessories: Nokia 1100, Nokia 1100c, Nokia 1101, Nokia 1108, Nokia 1110, Nokia 1112, Nokia 1255, Nokia 1315, Nokia 1600, Nokia 2112, Nokia 2118, Nokia 2255, Nokia 2272, Nokia 2275, Nokia 2300, Nokia 2300c, Nokia 2310, Nokia 2355, Nokia 2600, Nokia 2610, Nokia 2610b, Nokia 2626, Nokia 3100, Nokia 3105, Nokia 3120, Nokia 3125, Nokia 6030, Nokia 6085, Nokia 6086, Nokia 6108, Nokia 6175i, Nokia 6178i, Nokia 6230, Nokia 6230i, Nokia 6270, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6620, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6631, Nokia 6670, Nokia 6680, Nokia 6681, Nokia 6682, Nokia 6820, Nokia 6822, Nokia 7610, Nokia N70, Nokia N71, Nokia N72, Nokia N91, Nokia E50, Nokia E60
