  1. https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/suspension-bridges-frightening/index.html It's just physics. Friendly civil engineering. These are the fourteen:- 1. Frighteningly transparent: ZHANGJIAJIE GLASS BRIDGE Where: Zhangjiajie, China When: Opened in 2016 Whoa: World's highest glass-bottomed suspension bridge Anyone can stare out of a very high window. But standing on one -- coaxing your feet onto a glassy surface suspended above nearly 1,000 feet of air takes some serious spine. Especially in Hunan, home to the world's record-setting glass-floored pedestrian bridge. Hanging between a pair of mountain cliffs in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park's Grand Canyon Scenic Area, this 1,410-foot-long span was until recently the world's longest glass bridge. But ask anyone venturing onto its triple layered, steel-frame-supported, sledgehammer-tested, crystal-clear span levitating 984 feet above an all too visible canyon floor. It's still the highest.
  2. I was travelling down Lentor towards Ang Mo Kio when I noticed a speed camera deployed on the pedestrian overhead bridge just outside bullion park. The warden was about 2 meters away from the camera, looks like he is stretching himself abit and not physically manning the camera. In the past, I always see the warden physically looking thru the camera when operating it. I was doing 120km/h about 400 meters away before I spotted the camera and braked to slow down to around 80km/h. Do I get zapped? Btw, I'll be checking the TP's website and keep u guys updated on the outcome for information's sake.
  3. For your reading pleasure.I like the last one, moveable bridge. http://english.cctv.com/20090721/103392.shtml
  4. That night was driving down from clementi and at the big slope near the ngee ann poly / sim area, there's this sudden bright flash when about to drive past the overhead pedestrain bridge. The flash's something like those red light cam. Does tp catch speedsters at night at the overhead bridge? If they do, are there such flashes? any bros encounter before?
  5. Suppose you have a boss that is influentual and not unknown in the industry. How do you tell the boss YOU QUIT without burning bridges? And given your role is not easily replaceable...how do you stand firm on your decision that you will not extend your notice?
  6. While travelling along AYE from Jurong around Clementi stretch saw an "unmanned" small video camera mounted on a short tripod pointed towards incoming drivers on an overhead road bridge. An umbrella was shading it. Then about 300m ahead on another overhead bridge managed to glimpse another 'unmanned' tripod pointing behind drivers. Anyone seen this ? Maybe both are synchronised to catch speedsters.
