  1. So I decided to be cheap and not pay $1 ($0.50 x 2) for going past Orchard road from Wheelock Place to Sunshine Plaza. (It was Saturday and I was on a bike.) No problem, I'll just take a detour through Grange road to Irwell road, then River Valley road, and I'll hit Hill street and finally Middle Street. I wouldn't do this if I were driving, but I was riding and the bike's FC is good (38 km/l). I never expected to encounter two incidents in the detour. There are 4 lanes turning from Grange road to Irwell road. I was the first vehicle on the third lane. There was a Wish on the second lane. We moved off together when the light turned green. The Wish was somewhat in front of me, but it didn't pick up speed. Didn't seem right. When you're riding, you tend to pay attention to little things like this. Right after we completed the right turn in our own lanes, the Wish turned immediately into my lane. No signal. Know the distance where you usually stop behind a car at a traffic light? It's that close. I was in a shock. By the time I thought to honk him, the matter had already past. Nevermind, live and let live. So now I continued my journey on River Valley road. There's a junction where the 3-lane road merged into 2 lanes after the traffic light. So, first off again. Cleared the traffic lights and since it's a merging lane, I checked my mirror. Hmm, what's this? A black car seemed to be accelerating behind me very quickly. I was on the right side of the merging lane and quickly approaching its end. "There isn't going to be enough space to overtake me, is he still going to overtake me?", I wondered. The car still didn't relent. It kept accelerating and finally overtook me on my left at the very end, forcing me to take evasive actions. I could kick his door, if you want to know how close he was. A black BMW. I remembered the honk this time.
  2. Dear MCF bro and sis, good evening!! It has been quite sometime since I last started a topic and I think general discussion is the most suitable place for this. Here's the stroy: Place of incident: Marsling blk 19 hawker center carpark Time: Around 12.45pm Date: 5th July 2014 At around 12.40pm this afternoon, me and my gf arrived at this hawker center carpark @ marsling and because we can't find a parking lot, I parked at the side while waiting for empty lots. After 5 min, I decided to drive one round around the carpark to search for empty lots at the other side. Bro/sis who lived here or have been to this carpark will know how the carpark flow (as in veh movement) because there isn't road marking on the road to separate incomming and outcomming veh so therefore we will have to give way whenever there's incoming veh ahead of us....... Then here comes the climax!!! This p-plate nissan sylphy was coming out from his lot and was driving towards the exit and at the same time, I turned right and both of us stopped at the middle of the road for nearly 45sec!!! From the video, you guys can see that there's a camry parked right side so there's limited space for me to steer and move on. What's more, look at the nissan sylphy, he has got plenty of space on his right side and he refused to move!!! Knn, just he can just steer to his right and both of us can move on right? But he chose not to!!! Lucky my gf was by my side, if not I will pull my handbrake and get out of my car to ask him what the fark he want!!! On the account he just passed his TP test, I give it to him this time round! At least the lancer Q-ing behind this Nissan know the basic driving etiquette and he reverse his car for me to pass through! When I passed through, this nissan sylphy still don't want to move!! at least 3 to 4 cars was blasting their horn at him!!! What do you think? If I am in the wrong, let me apologies for my actions in advance! Best regards, Slyison http://youtu.be/bkox765JAH4 http://youtu.be/9s-_a_F-ZdI
  3. I have a new neighbour. He refuses to park within his compound and parks his car just outside my place. Now i have no place to park my car cos my dad's car is parked within the compound and i have to park far away all the time(sometimes inadvertently parking in someone else's lot and i get notes on my car etc). So everytime i go to work and come back the car is parked there cos apparently that guy doesnt use his car for work. He has 2 vehicles and refuses to park within his own compound. Sometimes even if his space is unused (in front of his gate) he still parks at my dustbin/letterbox area wtfish right? dun want park in compound, dun park in front of gate, park in front of my place..... buay tahan! no etiquette at all..... How would you guys settle this "dispute"? any other landed owners here have experience dealing with such new neighbours who do not show any parking etiquette? I dun want this to end up like the saga everit road landed saga where the neighbours hamtum each other in newspaper. Pls advise thank you.
  4. Let's say I go to a showroom and was served by a certain SE. Does that mean I have to look for the same SE whenever I go back to the showroom? If I'm just going back to test drive some cars and the SE is not around, can I just get someone else? What if after test drive I decide to place an order?
