  1. Sports Council is amining to win 6 medals at the 2016 Olympics. Do you think it is possible or another Goal 2010 in the making? Even if possible, what are the tangible benefits of Olympic medals to the S'porean in general?
  2. Read this article on the way to work today - He's got some interesting comments - What resonates most with me are the observations about school sports and medals - this very much reflects my own experience. For my child's school, have got "trials" to join the CCA (not the school team, but simply the CCA) My neighbour's son was rejected from two CCA that he wanted to join.
  3. Had just watched a bit of the "today in parliament" excerpts on ch 8, really don't understand the mindset of the whites. Vikram Nair is always shooting down (fast to criticize) views of members not from his team. (same type of actions which can be seen in the previous parliament sessions, which has more whites shooting down non-whites). The current parliament is still ongoing, so i believe i'll see more whites down the non-whites. Can't they work hand-in-hand with others for the good of ordinary singaporeans and country instead of using gpmg and engage on a shooting spree? it is said that alternative parties are always opposing for the sake of opposing, is this really the case? i beg to differ, seems like they have switched roles. Is this the behaviour of the miw MPs the majority wants? I rest my case.
