According to today's Today, (page B2) one thing being investigated by the GIA (General Insurance Association) is a move to a "no fault" based system whereby you claim against your own insurance in an accident, regardless of who was at fault. Dear god I hope not - this would be so unfair. It would also sure as hell lead to higher insurance for the low risk driver, because they would be assuming some of the risk from the bad drivers. On the other hand, some form of "no fault" basis for injury arising from accident, where the state pays for medical care of an accident I could support. This would be paid for from road tax or petrol tax, and automatically cover anybody hurt in any sort of automotive accident, regardless of cause or fault. I wonder if this would make a difference to the insurance rates?

I personally polish and claybar 2-3 times a year. Frequency, pad choice, product and machine type will depend on paint condition. The surface is maintained with weekly washes followed by a layer of OCW. At the end of very month, I would do a CarLack68 Nano + #16 combo. I like this combo as the non abrasive chemical cleaners remove any bonded contaminants and leaves a nice sealant base for #16. Attached is how my MF applicator looks like after applying CarLack68 to a weekly washed and waxed car. The excessive amount of contaminants could be due to the fact that the car is park outdors most of the time.

Just collected my vehicle last week. How to start off with a routine detailing where it is off tip top conditions. 1.Wash & Dry 2.Sealent 3.Wax 4.Polish What is the frequency and the type of product to use?? Where to get the product as well.
