  1. I read from some car reviews in SG Carmart that the Lancer EX engine noise problem (0 to 60kmh) has been resolved, latest batch after July delivery are all tackled with engine noise.. Is that true? has anyone test drove the later batch?
  2. Got my Optra for slightly more than 1 month now. Since reading from this forum, noticed that most Optra owners complain about alignment problems. Mine had slight pulling to the left since new and steering wheel is not at 12 o'clock when travelling straight. Its quite common for new cars (even those costing up to $200k). Its not a big issue to me but need to get it rectify to reduce uneven wear on the tyres. I know wheel alignment is covered for 6mths FOC but during my 1st service I did not bring up this matter cos I had wanted to get it done outside. My experience with most car agents is that they cannot master the art of alignment even with their machines. I dun blame them cos to master in alignment, it comes with years of experience. If someone give me a set of surgical tools and together with instructions, does it make me a good surgeon? Anyway, my problem was solved but with some limitations on how much adjustments can be made undercarriage (learnt something new). Nonetheless, car is now tracking straight with steering wheel back to 12 o'clock. For those keen to rectify the alignment issue and dun mind paying $50, PM me and I give you the contact.
