  1. This Toyota Wish was treated better than I was when growing up. Watch the video to see why. What happened? At Gelang Patah R&R, a Toyota Wish was spotted being given some special treatment while refuelling. It was gently rocked by its driver and assisted by an attendant in a tender effort to quench the car’s thirst for fuel. I’m jealous. Why couldn’t my parents treat me this way? Looking at this did make me curious though. Does shaking the car do anything at all? Short answer: No. Nope. First, your car has a fixed capacity fuel tank (duh), if it is not fixed and can somehow fill up indefinitely, please contact us at [email protected]. However, the theory is that when filling up petrol there are air pockets that form during the process. This reduces the amount of petrol that one can pump into their car, wasting time and money. Think of it like a soft drink can, where there’s always air in the can so the can is never truly full. However, rocking isn’t the way to solve this. In CNA’s Talking Point episode 32, the director of Mister Garage, Vincent Emmanuel Lee debunked this myth, saying “When we pump the petrol into the tank, it creates foam and vapour (which) occupies the tank. When we wait for the vapour and foam to dissipate, that's when you can pump more petrol into the tank.” This makes shaking ineffective as everything is already at the top instead of within the liquid. Online chatter Back to our usual Facebook clownery, people made fun of the shaking and rightfully deemed it useless. However, some people took offense to the footage being recorded in the first place, saying the person who took the footage had nothing better to do as the driver did nothing illegal. Writer’s thoughts: I was treated very well as a kid I just needed to get your attention for this article lol. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 3. Hi All, My steering is shaking badly when i'm driving even when i'm driving at 40km/h. Can this problem be resolve with just wheel balancing? Had spoken over to the phone with 2 workshop and they told me might be the case of the tyre is swollen (First time hear of this) and recommend that i change the tyre. Any forumer able to advice what might be the possible things?
  4. I've recently bought this ride from a used car dealer. Everything was fine, except for this intermittent problem, The car would ride fine most of the time. Accelerating and braking wouldn't give me much issues.. This intermittent problem would hit me usually when crusing at 80 - 90 km/h. The car would suddenly have this loud shuddering noise, the whole car would vibrate, and when i accelerate, i can't gain much speed, its like the car is braking itself. When I let go off the accelerator pedal, the speed would reduce drastically. On highways, this is a total nightmare. I'm at a loss, as when I bring it into workshops. The problem doesn't replicate itself. Its really intermittent, can happen any point of the day, during initial cold start, after driving for a while, ANYTIME! After i drive slow for about 2 - 5 minutes, it would go away itself... I'm suspecting a dirty ABS wheel sensor, reading that the wheel's speed is different, decides to brake itself.. Is that possible? But no ABS lights up when it happens.. No warning lights at all.. I'm writing in to the forum in hope that someone has experienced this problem and can advise.... Other then the above problem, sometimes when i step on brake, i have the pulsating feeling on brake paddel. Might have a warped rotor? But this too comes and goes.. Please help!

  6. I'm currently have attachment in this company, but the office is on this platform. The platform is built by the company below us privately. They rented the space to the company I'm in now. So it gets really shaky whenever someone walk around. My fellow attachment friend has a habit of shaking his legs, when he shake his legs the entire platform is vibrating. Maybe its just my area cause I'm next to him. How do I make him stop shaking without offending him?
