  1. This is a question that has been bugging me for some time. You know how sometimes when you back into a parking lot and you're not really concentrating and your rear wheels bump against the stopper that most lots have? What does that do to your rear wheel alignment? Does this affect different vehicles differently, ie:- RWD vs FWD cars? The car drives normally after bumping against the parking lot stopper, but being the anal perfectionist I am, I can't help but have a nagging doubt that the alignment might be slightly off, even though I can't really tell by driving the car.
  2. Anyone knows if the master brake cylinder stopper can affect or damage the master brake cylinder?
  3. guys, anyone can advise on the diff on those $5 rubber stopper and $20++ ones? What's the difference (besides the price!)? How long do these things last?
  4. I realised that a lot of tuning companies like Ralliart, Nismo, Endless, etc have this Master Cylinder Stopper which is placed in front of the Master Cylinder that prevent it from being "pushed" out when brake pedal is depress. Thus improving brake feel. However, seems like no one in Singapore metioned it, and it seems like a very easy DIY-able improvement ... ------- Better and direct braking feel. When you apply brake, brake master cylinder is moved slightly by pressure. Brake master cylinder stopper stops this movement and transmits the pedal pressure to master cylinder without any loss of pressure caused by that movement. This produces much better and direct brake feeling. ------ For a right handle drive car, with a master cylinder stopper, it also minimizes bulk head warp during braking bringing a direct and safe pedal feeling. ------- Comments ?
  5. Hi Guys, The Stream brake is pretty weak especially when depressed all the way down. Some Japanese Stream Owners placed a metal plate in front of the Master Brake Cylinder to stop the Master Brake Cylinder from protruding out. It can be seen at this website: http://www28.tok2.com/home/streamcar/sub27.htm (P.S: Use http://world.altavista.com to translate ... gotta copy and paste the text). However, the article did mentioned about potential damage to the Master Brake Cylinder ! It was also mentioned that new batches of Stream had this piece of metal installed. Need to seek you guys comments on whether this is feasible at all ! Thanks in advance
