So that's where the revenue from COE goes to [:)]

I heard from market sources that the budget for this tender is by no means small, by industry standards.

Singapore - The Land Transport Authority has called a pitch looking for an advertising agency for its employer branding campaign.

While not much detail is available, the tender document states the appointed agency will also be responsible to place ads across print titles such as The Straits Times and The Star in January 2011.

The tender closes 15 December, 2010.

LTA is also currently reviewing its OOH account which was up to pitch earlier this year.

proceeds from coe, road tax, fines, etc. all go to mof for redistribution to public spending i.e. budgets for gov, salaries, subsidies, etc.

while this is true, the percentage is well, disproportionate in my view.

surplus goes into national reserve and think somehow somewhere will go into the ruling party's funds as well. maybe directly, maybe only through party member contribution.

i think every party member is expected to contribute some % of salary towards the party funds. something like chc.

Long term & short term goals.

I would like to have immediate short term goals as roads conditions are not as good as last time. Roads full of litters, pot holes, uneveness due to re-patch of underground works etc.

To improve more on road conditions is somehow related to all more enforcer to curb illegal parking issues as these people really do hold up traffic. Just drive to Serangoon/Geylang road towards town during peak hours and you will see why. Even that they are not blocking in the main roads (single vehicle in double yellow "to" vehicles parked at junctions), they will block others from having a faster exit at "Lors" due to the block vision caused by them.

Long term goals, rework major expressways like having dual passageways at CTE/PIE.

However, what will be the exits/entrances points with these passageways? They had one failed passageway at Serangoon road. They introduce this as to divert drivers away from CTE however, final destination to Jalan Besar then what? Drivers will get jammed in serangoon area. They are better off paying ERP in CTE.

The roti prate man might only ask, where is my prata teloh and teh alia.
