Replaced my swift 1.3 Manual Engine Mount yesterday, bought from stockist + labour $480.  No more thump or tuck sound from front and rear wheels when do sudden accelerate.

Any recommendation for a workshop that charges reasonably for engine mount replacement for Daihatsu Sirion? 

I was quoted about $500-600 inclusive parts and labour.

Just to check with fellow bro/sis, I drive a sylphy 1.5 was told by workshop it has 4pcs of engine mounting and one of it has some sort of sensor attached and this is the most expensive piece out of the 4.

 

Was told if replace all 4 cost $850.00

If replace the other 3 pcs (without the sensor piece) cost $450.0

 

Anyone can help me understand what W/s telling me is truth?

What's the "sensor" for, did the W/S tell you? And check your manual too, I'm pretty sure if there's such a sensor it'll be mentioned somewhere in there.

Try Eng Hup Auto - at Sungei Kadut there - I bought Axio engine mount from the boss there - then he bring you to his workshop at the same place to do the change.

 

The lowest price after I've checked a few shops. Got a canteen there u can makan while waiting for your car. But no shopping centres nearby lah if you need aircon haha.

Influence of mounting system on NVH characteristics of vehicle

The two main functions of suspension components:(Thanks for the help and support of Chongqing Feilong Jiangli Auto Parts technical department)

(1) the displacement of the supporting powertrain and the East power train.

(2) the vibration of the isolation power assembly is transferred to the vehicle body to improve the NVH of the vehicle. The higher stiffness of suspension is favorable for supporting powertrain, which is unfavorable to NVH of vehicle.

The lower stiffness of the suspension is beneficial to the NWH of the vehicle and is not conducive to the support of the power train. Through the reasonable matching design of the mounting system, a better comprehensive result can be obtained, so that the NVH performance of the mounting system can be maximized while satisfying the support power assembly.

$130 to change Toyota mounts? wow that is expensive booosss.  I change my conti car mounnts for $60 nia.
