Hi,

Did you guys had a good meetup or cancelled? I am quite closeby at Yishun. Last tank as foto below...yellow warning light came on at 554.2, topped up at 559.4 with 35.95 litres worth of EM5000 red. As you see, my car is yellow...maybe I got me a lemon! Will be servicing and changing to 15" Roto Fighter with Bridgestone GR90 after this next tank. Don't know what to expect for new tyres.

CHEERS! uncle susa.

Hi bro, had done the method told by TCM service centre. To pick up at 2.5rpm in order for the CVT to function smoothly. Maybe my petrol tank is dirty. Cause can feel the different. Power getting lesser. Maybe next top up should refill the V-power to clean it. Hopefully work. [drivingcar]

if u ask me, the best cleaning agent is go NSHW, rev till 5-6Krpm and drive at 150-160km/h for 15mins so... to and fro ..........that will do the job.. if can, drive this way till malacca and back...... sure clean clean...... [laugh]

Just take note if you buy this product,do not put full tank, this one max can mix 30L,so put $50 of petrol just nice.[there are at least 10L of petrol in your tank.]

Go outside WS & replace the air-comprssor @ S$ 350 to S$ 500 (Original from TCM) & cooling coil (Original from TCM) @ around S$ 200 to S$ 300) + gas S$ 15 + S$ 80 for labour.

Get re-con gearbox from Japan @ around S$ 1K to S$ 1.2K - save over S$ 10K !!

Get my worst record here. 328.2km pumped 35.18 litres of petrol. Esso 5000. Feel more dragging. Not like before that powerful. Haz.....

I suggest you try pumping more air to your tires,40 Psi should improve your comsumption, but won't be to harsh to drive.

Ya, I think most drivers under-inflate their tyres by pumping after driving some distance.

But then, 40psi to me would be kinda high

Over-inflating causes tyres to have lesser contact with the road (lower rolling resistance though) and will not be good in wet weathers.

guys, all this talk about FC, assuming your car is properly maintained, there are few points to note:

1) type of fuel pumped.. 95 and 98 got diff FC

2) tyre pressure.. make sure it's as per recommendation

3) type of travel: 70% highway and 30% highway is BIG difference. and when we say "highway" it means smooth travel, 90km/h all the way. if your "highway" is like CTE at peak hour, jam all the way, this is NOT call highway, this is city travel.

4) type of engine oil.. w30 and w50 big diff also.

i am driving honda crv, 2.4L.. the FC can vary between 7km/l to 11km/l per tank. all depends on whether i get stuck in CBD traffic or smooth travel everyday changi to jurong. rims also big diff. i downgraded from 18" to 17" and saved 1km/l every tank

I pumped 40Psi on all my cars,Mazda 323[14ins wheel],Toyota Camry[16ins wheel] & 370z[19ins wheel],no gripping problem,just nice...anyway just personal preference....no harm trying,maybe can helps to lower his fuel consumption.

Hi I pumped my front tires at 250 and rear at 230. Think already too much from the spec. But the FC still very high. Really do not know what went wrong. Had sent to TCM checked also but result is ok. [confused]
