The new F12berlinetta is provocative. The sensual styling will likely appeal and tempt those who are into wheeled art. Not to mention by bearing the highly praised badge on its bonnet, it must be good. Then, things could have been very different.

Mansory, a luxury car modification firm based in Brand, Germany, showcased its take on the F12 at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show. Called the 'La Revoluzione', the GT has now been cloaked in maroon carbon fibre, which looks highly exotic, but less pleasing to our eyes. We reckon the firm could have been more creative with the moniker too (likely to have been inspired by Ferrari's halo car - LaFerrari).

It seems to be a case of 'too many cooks spoil the soup'. In our humble opinion, the people at Maranello did a good job with the F12. But Mansory - not so. Other than the unique carbon fibre body, we thought the fixed wing broke the svelte, graceful silhouette of the stock car.

From the front, it seems that Mansory has eradicated the clever active cooling duct for the brakes. Gone too are the aero bridges behind the front wheel arches.

The fixed wing looks fine from this angle, though, and if there's one thing Mansory did right to the aesthetics, we reckon it would be the exhaust tips.

The German tuner has upped figures from the 6.3-litre V12 to above 1,200bhp, which enables the La Revoluzione to complete the century sprint in 2.9 seconds - down from 3.1 in the stock car.

Before we end this post, we thought we should remind you of how gorgeous the original car was.

Mitsubishi Evolution driver gets praises for his parking offence

Someone has spotted this chrome-wrapped Mitsubishi Evolution 9 MR parking at some motorcycle lots and sent it to SG Road Vigilante. The photo, which was taken on 30th of May 2020, obviously shows the Mitsubishi Evo occupying lots intended for motorcycles. You might be wondering why we are sharing this with you as HDB parking offences are not that big a deal as it is a common occurrence. In fact, we reckon most of us should have some form committed parking offences before and simply sort out our mistake by making an appeal for the parking offence. What is interesting however, are the comments on this photo on SGRV's facebook post, there were more netizens praising how cool the Evo looked or how rare the car is instead of the usual slamming and shaming comments. Don't you love our local car community?

BMW E34 and dashcam driver narrowly escape death with lightning-quick reflexes

A video of two drivers speeding and almost crashing to their deaths seems to be circulating on social media, Whatsapp groups and Telegram chats. Here's the link to the 14-second video.   They almost died In the video, you can see both the BMW and dashcam driver take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision with a stationary vehicle on lane 1 (rightmost lane). If they had crashed, based on how fast they were going past other cars on the road, they would have died.  Online Chatter - Pro or lucky? I'm not even sure whether to be horrified or impressed by the display of lightning quick reflexes in the video. Netizens seem to be leaning more towards impressed. Indeed. They are waiting.

Honda Stream gets Covid-19 slammed out of it by BMW 6 Series at Changi Village

This accident happened at Changi Village hawker centre carpark. You can watch the full video of the accident below courtesy of Roads.sg (if you haven't already seen it)   What’s happening Honda Stream exits the carpark and attempts to make a right turn on a two-way road. The driver seems oblivious to the fact that there's a stop sign and inches the car onto the main road. The Honda Steam driver then jams the brakes and in less than a second, what looks like a BMW 6 Series crashes into it. Hard. Different points of view If you replay the video, you'll notice that even after the crash, there were no cars that went past on the other side of the road. Meaning, the Honda Stream had more than enough time and space to avoid the accident. Jam break for what? The driver also ignored the stop sign and failed to do proper checks before moving off. On the other hand, based on the sheer force of impact, the BMW was going pretty fast too. What the people say This sounds legit. I think it's the Honda Stream driver's fault. The BMW driver sway balls. Also, there's a lesson here people - Stay the #$%& at home.

This i30 driver reckons he is one of Osaka's street racers!

This video has gone viral among the car enthusiasts community in Singapore.  A white Hyundai i30 has been filmed by the camera car's passenger showing the Korean car cutting across lanes recklessly with signaling along the SLE. Obviously trying to taunt or block the camera car (an Audi), we have no idea what is the story behind this incident as the video does not come with any audio. The video lasts for 30 seconds and could well have been going on for sometime. We hope nothing bad comes out of this road rage incident. P.S. Dear Hyundai driver, maybe you should watch less video clips on Youtube about Osaka's infamous street racers... ef6b0a0d-6339-4962-9dda-e287bb98811c.MP4
