  1. Anyone who loves carbon fibre will probably love the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 CARBONADO GT by MANSORY. MANSORY practically took every non carbon fibre body panel of the car and swapped it with carbon fibre. Keen to showcase the amount of carbon fibre it has, it even leaves the centre part of the car clear. One of the biggest exterior change is its new front skirt with optimised air intakes for improved ventilation of the front radiator. Its sides have also grown by 40mm at the front and 50mm at the rear. New diffuser built into the new rear spoiler stabilises the rear at high speeds and creates surface contact pressure together with the enlarged rear wing on the rear axle also. To match its extreme look, MANSORY gave it enough power to back up its look. Fitted with two MANSORY turbochargers, new pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, crank and cylinder, it now puts out a humongous 1,600bhp and an electronically-limited torque of 1,200Nm. We assume the limiter was there to protect itself from killing its gearbox! This accelerates the bi-turbo V12 from 0-100km/h in a scant 2.1 seconds. The top speed is an eye-watering 370km/h. Fast enough I hope?

    When things turn ugly

The new F12berlinetta is provocative. The sensual styling will likely appeal and tempt those who are into wheeled art. Not to mention by bearing the highly praised badge on its bonnet, it must be good. Then, things could have been very different. Mansory, a luxury car modification firm based in Brand, Germany, showcased its take on the F12 at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show. Called the 'La Revoluzione', the GT has now been cloaked in maroon carbon fibre, which looks highly exotic, but less pleasing to our eyes. We reckon the firm could have been more creative with the moniker too (likely to have been inspired by Ferrari's halo car - LaFerrari). It seems to be a case of 'too many cooks spoil the soup'. In our humble opinion, the people at Maranello did a good job with the F12. But Mansory - not so. Other than the unique carbon fibre body, we thought the fixed wing broke the svelte, graceful silhouette of the stock car. From the front, it seems that Mansory has eradicated the clever active cooling duct for the brakes. Gone too are the aero bridges behind the front wheel arches. The fixed wing looks fine from this angle, though, and if there's one thing Mansory did right to the aesthetics, we reckon it would be the exhaust tips. The German tuner has upped figures from the 6.3-litre V12 to above 1,200bhp, which enables the La Revoluzione to complete the century sprint in 2.9 seconds - down from 3.1 in the stock car. Before we end this post, we thought we should remind you of how gorgeous the original car was.
  3. [extract] This is the Mansory Cormeum. It was originally the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG but in the hands of Kourosh Mansory, owner and head honcho of Mansory, the SLS AMG gets a new nose aside from a wide arch body kit. The Cormeum, named after an opera solo performance or aria, tries to fit the earlier Mercedes Benz SLR's nose into the SLS AMG together with the front headlights from a Ferrari 599. Looks like nothing is sacrilege these days
  4. [extract] Quite a surprising bit of news here. Lotus has basically given its seal of approval to Mansory, that crazed performance car tuner that can turn a Panamera into a vivid blue and canary yellow monster or a Rolls Royce Ghost into a really ghastly being. The photos you see here is of a Mansory badged Lotus Evora were taken from Lotus' website and it also stated that this is
  5. [extract] The always outrageous and over the top tuners Mansory have now turned their attention towards Maserati. After their really garish Porsche Panamera in Cobalt Blue and some Canary Yellow inserts, and their quite subtle interpretation of Rolls Royce
  6. Not satisfied with a full carbon Bugatti Veyron Linea Vincero which they created sometime last year Mansory have decided that with carbon, there must be gold to spruce things up. These are the same people that decided that the Porsche Panamera needed a little colour in its life. A little colour here and there is good thing....IF Mansory actually knew when and how to stop in the first place. The previous Linea Vincero Anyway, they've not created a one off show piece to showcase more of the Linea Vincero range of accessories for the Veyron, but with gold. With the gold comes the addition of the word
