We know PMDs can be fast if you know what to do to increase its performance. Check out how this rider goes from Yishun to Ang Mio Kio in less than 5 mins.

Of course, being electric-powered, there is plenty of torque to pull away from the rest of the traffic. The camera car gets dropped once the lights turn green but soon manages to follow behind after some time.

No traffic lights along Lentor Avenue? Let's switch into 'max speed mode' then! we are no scientists or mathematicians but a wild guess probably puts the rider speed above the road's speed limit of 70km/h.

Soon, he encounters traffic and goes past easily.

The rest of the video then shows him passing more vehicles like a pro.

Rider even checks his blind spot when changing lane. Bravo!

By now, it is 4 minutes into the length of the video and the rider is already traveling along Ang Mo Kio Ave 6.

Thankfully, we can see from the video that he did not get into any accident riding on the road illegally.

Here's the full video from SG Road Vigilante.

Sorry but I don't think we should even post this, let alone to analyze how he make it in 5 min? It is simply a reckless PMD user!! And where are the enforcement team when we need them?! [furious]

PMD rider can also get from Yishun to Hell in a much shorter time. Such a scene used to be coming from men in tights on bicycles.

I believe the intent was to let the casual IB observer realised that there are still pocket of people who ride irresponsibiliy.

This sort of add encouragement to the regulators to step in.

Didn't know PMD has such good suspension system. 😂

But one small pothole will make him a superman.

With so many cameras mounted on lamp-posts, it is hard to believe why the central ops room both at TP and LTA failed to spot this and dispatch a highway patrol car...😠

This shows the limitation with our CCTV current system and enforcement effort. Enough said!

Maybe not turned on. 🤣

Or need manpower to manually monitor; no AI. Should learn from China.

  • Space: Large and Empty

Over the weekend I fell into a bit of a science-fiction/science rabbithole. You know, one of those when you click on ONE Youtube video and suddenly the whole Sunday afternoon is gone and your algorithm is all messed up.  Anyway, obviously there's tons of fascinating stuff about space and science and all that. Too much, really.  But one fun fact has stuck in my brain: All the other planets in the Solar System could fit between Earth and our Moon.  It seems crazy to think, consideri

Challenging myself to a week without coffee or sweetened drinks

Sometimes, the key to spicing up your life can take a very simple and mundane form. Or in the case of a challenge I embarked on in early-July, a bland and literally tasteless one. Feeling sometime in mid-June that I had been swept up too mindlessly by the push-and-pull of the everyday, and seeing that I *had* to reclaim some sense of agency with the way I lived, I eventually decided: I would allow myself only water as a drink. I'm pretty sure Yakun and Toast Box lost a fair bit o

Tennis: Beautiful game that doesn't know how to count

Wimbledon just concluded yesterday (congrats Sinner!), and it's a reminder of how much I enjoy tennis as a sport. I used to play it some (wasn't particularly good), and still tangentially follow it nowadays (the Roland Garros final this year between Alcaraz and Sinner is an all-time classic).  There's something intrinsically mesmerising about the sport, I think even for spectators who have never picked up a racquet. At first glance, it may seem like just two people (or four, but doubles is

This should be the true Singaporean national dish

Singapore is known to be a melting pot of different cultures, races, people and of course, cuisines from all over the world. You can probably find food from most places here in Singapore, but we also have some dishes that we like to think of as our national dish - okay, google says there isn't an officially declared national dish, but Chicken Rice is one of those that's often mentioned. Yes, we all love Chicken Rice, but it isn't really unique to Singapore.... Nasi Lem
