TL;DR – BMW driver steals a parallel carpark lot from another BMW by edging headfirst into the small vacant lot. The result? Video footage of some crap parking.

 

Here’s a 47-second video of a Beemer stealing a carpark lot….from another Beemer!

What’s happening?

Here’s a rough breakdown of what’s happening.

The 3 Series (car at the back) tailgates the 1 Series (car in front trying to park).

Both their hazard lights are on.

As the 1 Series tries to parallel park by reversing in, the 3 Series drives headfirst into the lot.

Yes. Headfirst into a small parallel lot.

The 1 series driver then comes out of the car to confront the 3 series driver (the conversation is inaudible, so we cannot tell what they’re saying to one another).

What could have caused this?

While we don’t know what happened before the recording starts, some people mention that the 1 Series could have been the culprit and not jump to conclusions.

I don’t know about you all, but it’s just cringy to watch.

Yes, I understand the 3 Series is trying to get the lot before the 1 Series reverses in, but it doesn’t change the fact that it irks me, especially when you see the 3 Series stuck at an odd angle in the parallel lot.

Honestly, most cars these days come with a dashcam installed. Try not to get caught doing stupid things on video so we don’t have to write about you.

If I had to guess, the 3 series must have been waiting for some time. Why? Because he's stopped very close to the parked cars to allow cars to pass him.

The 1 series was one of the cars and saw that a car in front was just leaving and decides to take the lot.

3 series was not happy that he waited long time but was unlucky and thought he deserves to get the lot and decided to go head in.

 

So... does he deserve the lot?

Some would say he waited there for a long time and 1 series should let him park. 

Others would say public spaces are whomever parks first gets.

Where is this place? Is there no alternative parking? Too far away?

If I see this kinda situation I would just go and find alternative parking. Walk abit wont die.

Amoy street. Very difficult to park here during peak hours.

Just park at Fraser's tower and walk a bit lah.

The scenario of the BMW 1 cutting queue is very real here.

Money can’t buy social cohesive behaviour.. the display of animalistic behaviour while not expected from a Bmw owner may only invoked a feeling of every man for himself and no one owes u a living or even be perceive as a better good for the people as they still have the “fighting “ and hungry sprit to want to win.

while I do not condone such behaviour, I always just let karma take it on them. And I don’t mean karma sutra 

I suppose both of them are military train. International water with no contact on each other can only mean one thing . 
 

non event and a waste of bandwidth for the authorities.. 

if you have to police such transversity , we are nothing more than kindergarten children all over again
