Mobil 5w30 at Carrefour

Both Lucien and me got Accent 1.3m SOHC recently and thinking of using Citgo 10w30 for 1k, 5k, 10k changes and beyond.. Should be fine even if we do 10k changes later right? He may wanna commit automobile suicide, but not me...

Can but Citgo is good if you clock a lot of highway miles. The 10k change should use something with slightly better quality.

Me is 70%-75% highway. CTE->SLE all the way.

 

Am gonna do sebsequent oil changes after 10k at intervals of 7k.

i er, buying the Citgo to use until 20k km. It ok? Its suppose to change every 5k or so.

 

I meant, intervals of 5-7k until 20k km where i change oils to syn. LOL!

I dunno. I estimate there are around 100+ bottles left on the shelf.

 

Be careful when you take the bottles. Some of them are leaking, some of the seals are broken.

 

When you ferry them home, make sure they are in an upright position to prevent leaking.

 

Coz one of my bottle leaked a bit and it's upside down.

 

Did u bring it back to change? I think Carrefour have some 7-day exchange policy... but I'm not too certain.

my FC has increased after i changed to m1 5w30

 

last week before oil change 16l can travel 160 km, now my needle reach the same mark only 110 km

will keep monitering

I personally find that cxxxxxe 5W-40 fully synth is very good for normal driving ....cheap & valuable for $$$ also selling @ carrefour @ $29.90 during promotion. I've attached a pic check it out.

yeah.. i got at Suntax at 39+ while PS sell 24+..imagaine I got 3 bottles on Suntax.. KNN !! wonder why there is a price difference !!
