Ok mah... Sidewall is quite low... Nothing could be protruding... and 225 isn't that wide...

But anyway, nice rim size... 225/45 r17...

I was piss about the comment that the surveyer commented on my Octy but when the car workshop owner ( my insurance autorised workshop) pulled me to one side , he also agree with the surveyer that my wheels are too big but not on the causing of the motorbike to skid.So how??? I abit confuse lei... please help..

 

technically, that surveyor is a newbie. No experienced surveyor will come out such novice comments. Based on his argument, you shd be on the upper hand as there's no link and connection on the so call illegal rims/tyres as oppose to the skidding.

 

My Qn is wat was the speed the rider was travelling before skidding and the distance from you. From wat i observe, local drivers do follow quite close..hence insufficient braking time in the event of emergency. For u, u would need a strong legal support from your insurance company to back you up and if there's any accident on ur car, go to idac for some documentation written by them and photos taken by them too.

 

As regard to the wheels/rims..the most is u kana Or-kong for illegal/wrongful installation of rims and/or tyres.

I don't think he'll kanna for the rim. As stated in the previous post mah... just click on link and read. Print it out and show that to surveyer... Besides, 225 rim not that wide to be protruding out rite??

If he can get this covered, sure the bike guy confirm lose NCD...
