The reason many will suggest to you a servicing is because they do not know and depends ont eh mechanics to tell them during the servicing. It got to do with yourself, if you are mechanically sounds, you know your car condition to decide whether to push. However, in this case, 6000km, it is a new car, obviously it should be alright, Singapore cars are a little pampered. I am assumming that you have done your 1000 km servicing.

Car is still new, don't really think there is much to inspect. Even you send in for servicing, it will still be those routine interval servicing. Top-up of fluid, ticking the check boxes on their checklist, etc. Just make sure tires are filled up.

Hope this helps...

I've been reading in the forum people advise to top up tyre pressure, even more pressure than normal driving for long haul trips. But that went against what I have long ago been taught, that is for long trips, tyre pressure should be less! [shocked] When I took taxi in China for long trips, thats what they did also, release pressure. Theory is the long driving is going to increase the temperature on the tyres and that by having less air inside, it allows for expansion.

Anyone? [confused]
