Guess what? Getz facelift is coming in 3 engine variants!

 

Now we have the 1.1M (5dr), 1.4A (3dr/5dr), 1.6M (3dr), 1.6A (5dr)! Another addition to the family... =)

exactly! my fren altivo drives a 1.3 getz and dat one already bloody underpowered. 1.1 then i might as well put in my tamiya hyper mini.... think will have more power...

Yup... underpowered!! the body weight to power ratio is skewed!!!!

Hence at times, i need to administer the help of Ah Huat to push my car

for some extra 10-20 BHP!!!

 

Seems like this new 1.1 varient is for the new FL model

I think the pre-FL also got 1.1l but just that its not bring in...maybe they see the picanto sell quite well so they bring it in to get a share of the pie...

and i'm already compain my 1.6m is underpowered.. but not to worry.. the 1.1 version are made for fuel savers.. shouldnt be that expensive either.. will make a great gift for the folks @ home..

Getz 1.1 would probably be more popular that Picanto 1.1 in terms of branding and looks.

 

How much is it selling? What is the kerb weight?

think now Komoco is bringing it in as the dd for small cars is on the rise...even so the COE prices of CAT A, which have dropped to very low levels... if you all rem, some time ago had merged the small and med cars togr, thus pushing out the small car category altogether

Correction. Kelisa is only a 1, actually a 0.98 litre car.

 

Anyway, there are talks about kelisa phasing out. Might be MYVI coming in. MYVI also got 1.0 version. Guess we will wait and see.
