Yes they are and the penetration plus throw distance is further as well. A better and safer buy than fashionable Blue Vision or Diamond Vision which costs so much more, gives you bright white lights and miserable longevity, penetration and throw distance.

Darn the Diamond Vision. Use the first pair blown within 6 months. Never mind, got a replacement and it blew less than 2 months. Giving up on DV. Going to try Vision Plus or the Osram SS.

I was thinking on VP but I was told by some seller (they dont had VP) that it is not good during raining? VP also drain battery faster? Is it true? They had offer me higher wattage bulb (which is not approve by LTA)..

I am not so comfortable with higher wattage bulb but is also concern abt VP's performance on Raining day and also the battery and lifespan issue..

Do u got any comment??

-vp is yellow bulb not white bulb (which sucks for rain)

-when ur vehicle is running, everything powered direct by alternator, suck wat? if u stick to the stated wattage for ur vehicle, its ok

-higher wattage bulb will melt ur wiring/harness/..etc if not done properly

i switch to vp for my headlight n fog since july 05 no prob with rainy day/battery/lifespan

After I tried this compared to my factory bulb and previous Philips Diamond vision, it is much brighter and it is good in the rain. Remember 2 weeks back all those rain around the island? It helps me to see better and also let the rest to notice me in the heavy rain. Yellow light penetrates in rain better that white lights.

Vision Plus's wattage conforms to LTA's standard and it is safe for our vehicle. Don't listen to those seller who claims that higher wattage is better. I think it will drain your battery lifespan faster or even worse, cause fire in your electrical wiring.

2 week back heavy rain in the reason I am considering bright headlight bulb..

dont know why, just found that the stock light is not bright enought to see far.. it is really quite dangerous to drive in the "blind"

btw, the lobang u find is cheaper than the price I had found from other accessory store..

Much brighter than then normal halogen light bulb. Been using it for some time, average lift span is around a year +. So far I find CarBeauty at Paya Lebar SingPost there selling the cheapest.

I used Philips Vision Plus on my previous car (Seat Toledo). The toledo allows you to manually adjust the height of the beam while driving.

For those familar with JB, I drive through Geylang Pateh in JB to play golf every weekend at Poresia country club. By the time I finish dinner and leave, it's about 8 pm. The stretch of road from Geylang Pateh to the NS highway is always pitch black as there are no buildings around so I will adjust my car beam to throw its maximum range when going through that stretch for safety.

What I noticed is that the Vision Plus was much brighter and throws much further than my stock light bulbs for about 3-4 months. After that, I noticed that the range and brightness were no longer as impressive. Still much brighter than my standard, but not as impressive as before.
