Joshterran 1st Gear October 30, 2009 Share October 30, 2009 Thanks for recommending. I will try it out if I happen to pass by Macpherson. I am making this comments as I felt that I had been shortchanged for the price paid. Imagine S$ 7 can pay for a Mcdonald meal after self washing. I do know that washing by ourself is definitely better than a car wash. However, my car is almost 3 years old, can't be really bothered about the shineness of the paintwork. As long as it is clean and presentatble then it is fine with me. Cheers ↡ Advertisement

Still at times i do visit this car wash, when i am really tired. Especially after work, zzzz. Still, I will make it a point to wash by myself over a relaxing weekend. No matter what, they car wash people can never be as detail as the car owner himself. Agree?
Speddevil Neutral Newbie October 30, 2009 Share October 30, 2009 Har har . . . that's why I would rather wash the car myself. Now my car so many scratch marks due to sand particles in the cloths they use BTW, is it okay if I pass them my sponges and wash cloths to use on my car instead? DIY is still the best

Lokech34 Clutched November 6, 2009 Share November 6, 2009 (edited) Hi there, I used to wash my car everyday after my work due before my first child was born. Suddenly i just dont have the time , taking care of him used up all my energy. So what if my car is so clean, flakless or well polished. And the end of 3 years I changed my ride to another new car and have start all over again. I think I rather let the washing done by the washers at the petrol station. The one I always petrolise at Machperson Caltex station is not bad. They will use different cloths for different drying of the cars. Somemore it only cost me $4. Have a nice day. Locknload 5th Gear November 6, 2009 Share November 6, 2009 SPC already have liao... ongoing promotion .. $3 car wash Beware of the spc car wash in queensway, in the direction towards q'way shopping centre and Bt Merah - those guys there have the bloody habit of just pouring only a pail of water over your front windscreen and start hosing the rest of your car with the foam. Had to stop them and have them hose the entire car with water before allowing them to foam and scrub.

Machines have higher maintenance cost than manual washing. To save cost, they got people to wash your car these days. Yes, I too miss those machine washing.
