anyways, saw the advert of one PI in ST today, higher spec version comes with smart key, leather seats (factory fitted) and projector headlights (which makes a difference IMO. conventional reflectors don't look nice on the car, looks very cheap).

Yes, the Axio is a completely new model of the previous Corolla but below the new skin, it is still a Corolla, very Uncle, very family !

No... look CAREFULLY. Especially from the side. Apart from the new dash and fascia for the interior, the exterior panels are merely facelifts. Look at the pathetic effort of the new front door panels...

 

I forgot what is the name of the new 5dr hatch. At least that one looks better and more different from the RUNX.

normally, i will take 20-30% off from their paper claim .........

so, that work out to be around 13.6-11.9 km/L.....

mine is a manual lah...

 

mmz... light footer.. never rev beyond 3k.. usually change at 2.xk/rpm...

 

60% highway, 40% city....

but jam jam in the morning...

 

me using Motul Engine oil 5w30, 100% synthetic.. on stock 14" Goodyear Tyres..

 

there are some VOGSters who can hit 18km/l on manual.. but that one abit extreme.. switch off aircon... over inflate tyres and etc.... you can use Denso Iridum Spark Plugs for even better combustion... hehee.. mine is stock spark plugs...

nope i don't think so. auto FC will be slightly more. With VVTi engines and Super ECT trannys, the FCs of toyotas are generally very good.

that's the normal for auto.. but some people at VOGS get poorer or better FC.. depends on their right foot...

 

but one thing i like about manual car is its really FC friendly

 

you compare Picanto Auto and Manual, you will know the difference too.. likewise for Nissan Sunny Auto and Manual..

 

sunny auto about 10-11km/l

sunny manual about 13-14km/l

 

but one thing... sometimes u really wish the car is auto coz u need ur left hand for doing something else while on the road.. hehee
