Watwheels Supersonic November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 (edited) Like that left with very few choices. It's eiher those kei cars or Yaris. If your budget can cover Jazz oso not bad. Pretty fuel efficient. Edited November 21, 2006 by Watwheels

Wbucket Clutched November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 Vios can do it. I guess the question here is which decent ride CAN achieve more thatn 15KM/L. Other than that, Kelisa also can, but then what defines decent for you. You can try Daihatsu Siron too, petty good FC. I heard City's FC petty good too, but only the manual car i-dsi version. By the way, do check the FC chart in this forum. That should give you a general guide of which car CAN achieve more than 15KM/L.

Pool100 1st Gear November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 Maybe you can give us your max budget? that'll be the best to decide which is the best for you... I know kia rio and vios are pretty good FC... I'm on vios myself... getting 16+km/l... like some others said, if you can spend more than 50K, city and jazz are good options too... Cheers! Blurtux Neutral Newbie November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 City and Latio Not sure abt City. But IMO, I can't promise you Latio can clocked 15. The average range for Latio is about 12-14. Don't wish mislead and later you curse and swear about Latio and Nissan.

If you are talking 15km/l in city driving, only Jazz can match it in real world driving (forget what the manufacturers and SE would tell you), unless you go for hybrid. Garunguni Neutral Newbie November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 (edited) Off hand, I can only think of a few decent rides capable of >15km/L FC... 1. Kelisa (Manual) 2. Jazz / Fit 3. City (idsi) 4. Vitz 5. Siron 6. Passo Edited November 21, 2006 by Garunguni

ANyone can get me a good price also?? Just want a ride for A -B only. BTW my current Civic '96 VTI can really get 11.5-14KM/L. Lets do some maths... Assume your current fuel consumption is 13km/L Assume your yearly trevelling dist is 30,000km Assume you bought a new car with 16km/L(amazingly fuel efficient!!) Old car petrol cost yearly = (30,000/13)x $1.6 =$3692yearly New car petrol cost yearly = (30,000/16)x $1.6 =$3000yearly. So you actually save $692 by changing a new car! Is it really 'worth' it? Bearing in mind that 16km/L is mostly impossible in dense Singapore traffic light road environment. If I am you....I will forgo the new handphone and reduce the Cigarettes and weekly lottery expenditure. I can live with a car that I really love and enjoy, rather that to look at the fuel consumption everytime i drive.

Blurtux Neutral Newbie November 21, 2006 Share November 21, 2006 I heard some FC drop and some have their FC improves. Not sure your ride is how old. Least I expect is that within the first year, there should not be much changes to the FC unless there is a change of driving pattern, type of road travelling or poor maintenance.
