I'm actually very keen in the car. Somehow I cannot convince myself to dump $73.8k for it. Come next year, there will definitely be more choices coming along. Perhaps, I should be more patient. G 'R' has 1 unit of silver and WoW has one in red. Both PIs are offering $73.8k. Conspiracy? Ha! Ha!

Seems so many bros are interested with CVR, I'll make some doubt clearance...

 

1) CVR/CPT are both using 4G15 MIVEC Turbo charge engine.

2) CVR available in manual and CVT version. Contrary to what people believe, both CVR and CPT auto are using same INVEC III CVT. Thus the performance is the same. Weights are slightly different, CVR 1140kg while CPT 1170kg (without sunroof, with sunroof, 20kg more).

3) Both CVR and CPT come with the vented bonnet.

4) Only CVR (both auto and manual) has wide body kit. However, the wide body kit should be able to fit on new CPT since they are stick and clip on. The only problem was the rear part since CVR and CPT have different boot.

5) Only CVR manual with ASC (Active Stability Control), probably due to higher torque (210Nm /3500rpm).

6) Only CVR manual will have 240km/h, Ralliart style white background speedo meter.

7) Red trimming is not standard on both CPT and CVR. CnC opt it to make their offer more appealing. The part numbers are available and can be ordered via stockist. Estimated cost for 4 pieces(2 aircon vent, 2 center consoles) should not cost more than $300.

8) Both CVR and CPT come with standard front tower strut bar. Don't be cheated by PI saying it's optional and need to top up money to get it.

9) Only CVR comes with 4 point strengthened lower arm bar. Again, standard part. Don't be cheated by PI saying it's optional and need to top up money to get it. CPT buyer can get Carbing 4 point lower arm (mount at the same points. In fact, Carbing released the product before Mitsubishi create their own) at less than $400.
