Is there such a thing in the market for those car owners whose vehicle only comes with normal air con??

Thanks.

What does it mean to have a climate control air con? How is it different from the way the normal air con works? I'm puzzled. [dizzy]

Climate control air con is fully auto. You just need to set a certain temperature and the air con will adjust its speed and temperature accordingly.

Normal air con ususally comes in 4 speed and cold/hot selection. You need to fiddle with it constantly to find the right temperature.

I thought climate control is fully automatic??? You set a temperature and the air con system will ensure the cabin's temperature is at its range??

Correct me if I'm wrong.

last time i use manual always cant get right settings. hot day must adjust. at night adjust. rain adjust.just get into car after parked under sun adjust. adjust aircon 5 times a day just to get a good setting. now climatic. set my ideal temp at 25c and viola. no need to fiddle aircon.

I dun find Climate control good.

On hot days, definitely good.

On cold days like rainy days, the air con becomes very stuffy(duno correct spelling anot)

When u set it to fully auto, it tends to open the fresh air inlet. U wouldnt noe until u smell fumes.

Somemore if u concern abt FC one better dun use climate control.

Search the Green Book or Yellow pages for Honda parts distributor. Ask them to indent it for u.

Climatic control is taking the car's cabin outside temp. as reference and adjust accordingly to keep cabin cool and comfortable. Also helps in not fogging up the windows or clear up fogging when u press the auto button. U dun need to fiddle the fan speed also it will adjust auto.

U'll need to adjust the preset temp. when like outside temp. dropped. Eg. u preset 25 in cabin but outside temp. 26. U will feel uncomfortable so u have to lower the preset temp. to feel cool.

So depending on the sensor or thermometer is placed to make the whole system efficient.

In my dad's previous ride it has dual zone climatic control which not only driver can preset to his desired temp. but also the front passenger. Amazing. His ride conti, using a thermometer fixed under driver's side mirror for the system.

For my Jap ride is using sunlight sensor and thermometer at futher end of dashboard near the front center of wind screen. On my Odometer it shows the outside temp. reading.

U are sure Jazz has a climatic conrol system from the manufacturer??

Then u also have to find out which mechanic here knows how to install the system. Hopefully instructions come with it is in English.

Is there a socket or something for the sensors/thermometer to be installed??

The ECU managing the air-con system can auto detect when installed??
