Are coilovers transferable across cars of different makes?

Hi, sorry for the stupid question - I have KWs in my current car, and I'm changing cars soon (different make). Is the coilover transferable, perhaps I need to purchase some "adapters"/mountings to fit the new car?

Before the KWs, I had SACHS which was softer and lower. It was more comfortable but the bad thing is the car kept scraping the underside. The KWs feel much better when cornering, and feels planted when going over smooth roads. It is harder and there's almost no roll when cornering. But it can be very bumpy on uneven roads.

Hi

Don't change the suspension on your new car. It is already very well sorted. Bet it can handle better than your current car thats on KW.

Cheers

Great. if you have a chance, try Var 2 or 3. But it would be better if you go to a "competent tuner" for your Var 2 and 3. I am on var 2, it suits the kind of ride I would like to have.

Edit: Oh yes, don't change out the suspension on your Alfa so fast yet. Its a great handling machine. Enjoy the ride first before thinking of changing out.
