Hi there,

1. Going for 50K servicing tomorrow, how much brake fluid do I need for a 1.6L car?

2. Last minute, no choice, may just go petrol station to buy the fluid. I guess it should still be cheaper than distributor one right?

3. Should I use DOT 4 only.

Any advice bros, Thank you very much.

Regards,

Hi can any bros recommend me which workshop to go for the flushing of brake fluid and where to get the brake fluid? Which is better dot 3 or dot 4? Tks

Check the cap on your brake fluid reservoir with some wordings on it.It will tell u what type of brake fluid to use(normal japanese car should be dot 4). Check with your mechanic if flush out old brake fluid, bleed it and put in new one need how much litre. Buy from spare parts shop should be cheaper and can buy one more bottle for future top up.Try not to mix with other brands. [thumbsup][thumbsup][wave]
