Suze Neutral Newbie April 2, 2007 Share April 2, 2007 What's the problem with toyota shock absorbers? care to share? how will it affect the car?
Carlover76 Neutral Newbie April 2, 2007 Share April 2, 2007 Yup, glad that you are lucky enough as many workshop mechanics have told me how bad the quality of the Thailand-Assembled Vios and Altis, some shock absorbers spoilt in a year and some even less than a year. Overall rating on the fittings on Thailand-Assembled Toyota cars are poor. Will have to see any improvement on the new batch of Vios as I still remember the first few batches of Vios have problems like gear box faulty, air-con compressor spoilt etc.

Spycar Neutral Newbie April 2, 2007 Share April 2, 2007 vios is flat. Well spec I will say for that cat. Potential top seller in 1.5l cat. since when vios rear seat ctr floor is flat like those from honda Go look at rear of New Vios, rear seat is flat, exactly same as Honda ... Toyo 1st Gear April 2, 2007 Share April 2, 2007 Honda already had this feature on the previous gen civic. even jazz/fit/city already has the rear flat seat. nevertheless, it's a good move from toyota

Kityip 1st Gear April 4, 2007 Share April 4, 2007 yalor... the other day, my BIL bought a latio, when he told his FIL, his FIL says, aiyah, should get altis mah.. altis FC very good one, why buy lanchiaw?. aiyah..sign already huh??....... see how those people being brainwashed with the brand?... Latio is not bad also beside it's look. Quite well spec and decent FC. Toyota earns the reputation thru time just like Honda. Just like school and other stuff that we bought. Perception is impt. The Latio Sports is nice, but the sedan looks like "coffin van"...
Carlover76 Neutral Newbie April 4, 2007 Share April 4, 2007 Guys, if you all look carefully between the Belta and the New Vios, it is the same car. Just that when Borneo brings it in, they have changed the name to Vios instead.
inlinesix Hypersonic April 4, 2007 Share April 4, 2007 I think the naming is dependant on difference marketing strategy. For JDM, it is call Belta. For Asia ex Japan, it is call Vios. For other mkt, it is call Yaris Sedan. I think BM has no control over the naming. Either TMC/TMAP has the rite. FYI, I do not work in any Toyota related co. I m juz stating d fact. ↡ Advertisement
